  1. Thanks Larry and Kurt. So I should just cut it on a table saw (or what type is best)? Larry - is this the stuff you use: Acuraglas Thanks.
  2. How about one with a pistol grip? Speedfeed makes the IV-S (13" pull) for the Benelli. Thanks RS, but I don't like pistol grips on shotgun.
  3. That's a bummer. 30 round mags for the V22 upper would be great!!
  4. Thanks Paul. Do you know if the Super Black Eagle stock will fit?
  5. I like a shorter stock and can't find any for my Benelli M1S90. Since I can't find a short stock, I'm looking for a wood stock so I can cut it down by an inch or so. I've found a wood stock for a Super Black Eagle. Will a wood stock from a Benelli Super Black Eagle fit my M1S90? Any other suggestions for a short stock for my M1S90? Thx.
  6. It almost sounds as if you don't have enough spring length to start with. Hmmm! Am I understanding that your mag spring when uncompressed is only two inches longer that the entire mag tube (fixed part and removeable extention combined)? -- Regards, Yep.
  7. George, My last two round are pretty tough to get in the tube. The mag spring is about two inches longer than the combination of the extended tube and factory tube. Stated another way, if you removed the follower and put the spring in the installed extended tube, then the spring will be about 2" into the receiver with the bolt locked back. OK to cut some coils? Thx.
  8. My gas tube inside my 20” AR upper seems to have some play in it (it moves slightly side to side). I don’t notice this much play in the gas tubes in my other two uppers. The AR runs 100% however (knock on wood). Should I worry about it? Thx.
  9. Steve, I have the flat, single stage trigger in my AR. I have around 1,500 round through it with no problems. Love it. I bought it from Cactus Tactical.
  10. +1 Although these will be about the same price as a set of Heines and you won't have to hog out the rear notch. I had a chance to shoot the Warren/Sevigney sights a few weeks ago. They were excellent.
  11. RS, That stock looks nice. I picked up one of the CZ AR-15 .22 lr uppers and like that a lot. You just slap it on your existing lower. It's a little more expensive than the 10/22 stock, but not much - and it's much more similar to to shooting your AR-15. Here's a link to one I foud on Auction Arms: V22
  12. Looks intersting. Do you know the specs on the notch width and depth? Also do you know the width on the front post in the pic? Thx!
  13. I'm starting to really like Production. It's actually MORE challenging than Limited in some respects because of the mag limit and minor scoring. I used to consider it a Newbe division, but a lot of experienced shooters are now shooting Production - which has made it more interesting and fun.
  14. +1 Big thanks to Woogie and Roger. The prize table was great. Congrats also to the Open winner - Still Praying (Ronnie Shores)!
  15. Thanks Bill. Are these final now? BTW - it was great to meet and shoot with some BE guys that I've never met before.
  16. I placed an order from Cactus Tactical on Fri and got the stuf on Mon. Great service, good prices and a forum supporter . . . what's not to like!
  17. Cindy, Do you know the round count yet? Also, do you know the distances for the longer rifle stages? Thanks!
  18. Roger - the CAPS key - it's over on the left-hand side of the keyboard. Hit it Cy
  19. Thanks for the replies. I'll buy one as soon as it comes out!
  20. Good stuff. I was fishing with my son on that day as well on Lanier. We caught two of the biggest Bluegill I've ever seen and some strong-fighting channel cats too.
  21. Thanks Eric. The puzzeling thing is that I have completley different results (only a deviation of 7 fps) from my other G22 with the same load on the same day. That leads me to believe the vaiance is from the barrel itself. I chrono'ed 10 shot string today out of the old barrel - with very similar results.
  22. Thanks Chuck. I don't think that's it because I put the new barrel in the old upper (that contains the striker and striker spring) and I got good results. That seems to point to the old barrel as the culprit.
