  1. I use the same foam on all my bolt guns but since it says on the can don’t use in gas operated gun I have only used it while at the range between working up loads on occasion. I know it gets really gummy if not wiped out of a chamber so I assume it may do the same in a gas port. Never thought about that, I was having a gas leak (nordic 18" wylde barrel and syrac clamp on), I can't tell if it's in the gas block or tube but the gas port isn't clogged. Anyway I'm switching it out to a carbon arms gas block and new gas tube. We'll see how that goes.
  2. Ya that website sucks. Bbls really are the new bcg.
  3. yea if i could go back i'd most likey go with the shorter gun, same grip tho. i'd really like my production/fun gun to be able to be carried as well. i'm thinking the 4.5 or 3.8 would fit my need or do you think i'll really miss the sight radius?
  4. Dang Steve wish I knew u offered that!
  5. got one too, just need time to mount it
  6. anyone seen the Burris' new 1x Prismatic type optic? they are also doing a 1-5x XTR. i can only find it on Point and Shoot Media's FB https://www.facebook.com/PointAndShootMediaWorks
  7. The RO REALLY has to hover near the 22 shooters. Not sure what timers the ENGC uses
  8. I think it's sellers remorse. Before the panic ppl wouldn't mind selling stuff to new shooters, fellow shooting sports shooters or jr shooters at a good price. But then u hear or read about the a-hole who is ripping off people and flipping items for almost triple the return then u start to feel like u want in in the action. I hate it too, as much as I hate in stock threads but u don't cry when u have to pay market price for produce, fish or lobster, gas, etc.
  9. What mag carriers u guys using? Wife wants to use her m&p22 for steel challenge
  10. not sure if TSS still does 930s but them, if not then Crums or RAS.
  11. Used soft face grips on the Jam nut, strap wrenches it once too
  12. I been lucky calling also have a resetting issue on a flat trigger haven't called about. Thinking its the spikes lower cuz it worked in other lowers, lancer, NFA poly I call at or around 1100 CST
  13. I have Nordic also, my 930 works very well
  14. I think fulton armory does the right side charging handle. http://www.fulton-armory.com/upperreceiverflattopwsidecockingslot.aspx The ASA Left side is a lot more complex: the receiver is wider than standard (sort like a Vltor MUR), the nonreciprocating handle sits in a plate or long track that is a separate piece, and finally the rear charging hand plug swings and pivots to the side for bolt carrier access. I'll post pics later. So if you think you're going to some machine shop to get this done, you might as well have already spent the ~$450 for the upper from ASA, that includes the modified bcg. They can modify any bcg you want to use though. That streak of grease is where the notch should be
  15. Not possible, unless you're trying to do a right side charge handle. Then its a matter of drilling and tapping the bcg and machining a slot for it to reciprocate. What's the point really? I have an ASA side charge, it on my 18" rifle right now. It really isn't anything better than a normal chargin handle except maybe a bench gun where u can charge the gun and maintain cheekweld. I'm going to repurpose that upper/handguard to a Grendel build in the future.
  16. Meh I don't think so, I have the 5.25
  17. i had my lower lasered so the selector points at the word fire. safe should not be an issue, its the same position as a 90 degree safety
  18. Lol that's what my idea was a few posts above. I just couldn't explain it
