  1. I have cases that I have cut in half to help me set that station properly. unfortunately with mixed headstamp you will have to find a happy medium.
  2. Count me as another very satisfied customer of CZ shop. I have ordered brass and auto-drive units from them and their service has always been fantastic. I always check first with them whenever I need something.
  3. 3.9 grains of winchester 231 under a montana gold 147 fmj is a fine shooting 880 fps average. Runs great. We make it for Chris Tilleys range in raleigh nc for their suppressed Uzi rental. It's a nice steel plate round also.
  4. We make a round with a MG 45ACP 230 FMJ with 5.7g of WC231that is very accurate and nice shooting.
  5. I just had to give a heads up to their excellent customer service. Yes I know it is an expensive unit and the wait time to get one is kinda long but it's a quality machine. I broke the bent actuating arm and freely admitted it was probably my fault. When I called it was no questions asked and two days later on my doorstep was not one but two arms plus a new slipclutch "just in case" hint, hint. All delivered free as in no charge for the items or shipping. It was under warranty.
  6. Captain Kirks Phaser. Pretty cool and pretty slick looking.
  7. Thanks guys and bummer for Marvin. If it were my ammo I would have to commit Hari Kari and I am to young to die. I am going to have to rib him mercilessly next time we talk.
  8. Do you happen to remember which Venezuelan? The Venezuelan team was shooting my ammo for both the Eastern Regional and the National in Tulsa this year. I got a text this past weekend saying they did very well with no mention of a DQ.
  9. I still have quite a bit of AA2230/X-Terminator I can spare for fellow shooters. See this post for details. Note this is not for profit, it's only to help fellow shooters. Don't ask me to sell you some if you are going to try and flip it for a profit. I will be quite upset and no longer willing to help people who genuinely need powder to keep competitive.

    Brass

Recently completed auctions for 45ACP on Gunbroker seem to indicate about $50 for 1000 cleaned and polished plus shipping, give or take $5-10
  11. Just checked...you should have the #3 locator pins and shell plate......you were using #1 for 308
  12. Are you sure you have the correct shell plate and locator pins installed. I don't load 223 so I am not sure of the shell plate and locator pin numbers to use. If the casing slides in and it's the correct shell plate holder and locator pins I don't see how it can fall over.
  13. yeah, at 9.2 cents a bullet for those plated bullets the 9mm Montana Golds @ 10 cents each for a superior jacketed bullet is a far better deal. MG is all I load, I don't even want to mess with anything else, just not worth it for me.
  14. As a legit ammunition manufacturer myself I was just curious. I never knew there was a relationship and was wondering if someone else was knowledgeable about it.
  15. http://www.xtremebullets.com/category-s/48079.htm I am confused......does extreme bullets have a relationship to freedom munitions? Look at the ship to address on that brass exchange program.
  16. I concur with the too much crimp suggestion above. I hate that the concept is even called "crimp" It should be called "bell remover"
  17. It's all part of the cartoon.
  18. I can run it through one of my 1050's for you. Figure it will take about 8 hours. 2 cents a case sounds about right, comes out to about $20 an hour. If you are interested PM me. Too bad you already deprimed it, we could have done it all at once and saved you some time.
  19. Here is what to get to make great lube. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00028MLKC/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DNQX3C/ref=oh_details_o03_s02_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 As indicated above, it will run in any spray bottle set to mist 10% Lanolin 90% Alcohol or adjust to preference.
  20. Those guys are moving around like they have 10 pounds of cr^p in their pants!
  21. self deleted because I was guilty of thread jacking
  22. Welcome to the forums from a fellow Raleigh NC member. Do you ever shoot at Tillleys place perchance, Personal Defense & Handgun Safety Center over on Tryon rd.?
  23. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=156851&hl=%2Bcomputer+%2Bcontrolled+%2B1050#entry1870581 One of the photos is actually a video link that shows exactly how it works. Well that is just plain cool.
  24. Very nice work Mr Morris. I thought of making one myself but decided it would pay for it'self quickly so I just bought it. Biz expense and I get to depreciate it at tax time. I am curious about the electronics on yours. Can you point me to a thread that explains the system? I wanted to make my own auto drive too but gave up the idea quickly when I did the math.
  25. I use an MA-Systems collator, it's very heavy duty, silent motor, holds 14 pounds of bullets, The platen will run 9mm up to 45, variable speed. It's at least 6 years old and still going strong running about 4k projectiles per day. Maint is minor and monthly. Downside is price.....it will run you about $1300.
