  1. get yourself the old style spring that ensures full powder bar travel and disconnect the new failsafe gizmo. search here for threads on the topic. also I have cut cases in half lenghtwise to properly adjust the swaging station. makes it a lot easier to adjust when you can visually inspect how it working. enjoy and learn all about your 1050. there is a learning curve but once you get a good grasp it is an awesome machine.
  2. If you really loved me you would have married someone else
  3. "My lowest price changes every day. try me ya never know" is my answer.
  4. swift creek area near crossroads shopping center or you could meet me at my warehouse where the magazine is in Erwin NC. you might be interested in other items I have there. a lot of lead projectiles some brass and other powders. I inherited this abandond warehouse that used to be an ammo manufacturing plant. I am getting ready to re open it and there is a lot of abandoned items I would be very willing to let go at favorable pricing. I am generally there tuesday to friday morning. other wise I am a nurse at WakeMed working 3 twelve hour shifts on weekends.
  5. Will do. It will be sometime next week. Thanks for the offer to try it out.
  6. I wondered the same thing. they had no keys for the thing and it was sold as is.it was a little auction place out side of fort bragg. I will offer it up to members here and on the beretta forum where I am a member for standard pre panic prices for the alliant equivalent. I just need some time to figure out the legality of repackaging and shipping. I am imagining that not many members are in a position to buy a 20 kilo box. of course face to face in NC would be best. if there is someone that wants to try this powder and report back to the forum I can send you a pound if you are willing to cover shipping and hazmat. its date code is 2004 so it predates the seperation between alliant and lovex. it was manufactured when they were coordinating so the above reload data should be accurate. the locksmith charged me $200 to get it open and I got a steal on the price for the thing....well worth it considering what I found inside.
  7. My typo sorry its a type 4 outdoor magazine. I only load 9 40 and 45 so I will probably offer this up in the classifieds some time next week. Date code on the boxes says 2004, powder smells fine with no acrid odor or signs of breakdown. powder appears spherical and should meter very well. No need to be paranoid I have an 06 ffl with all approvals in place.
  8. Ah thanks for sleuthing out that link. This looks like a good rifle powder. I wonder how clean it burns. has anyone here actually ever used this powder. It appears to be in excellent shape in sealed 20 kilo boxes. inside the box the powder is double bagged first in heavy duty paper then heavy thick plastic bag.......it is a great name eh.
  9. I recently purchased a type 1 magazine at auction. No keys for the lock. took a crane to get it on a flatbed and on location. when I got it open, among the contents were 140 kilos of a powder marked Explosia Lovex D073/2460. Does anyone have any experience with this particular powder. From what I can tell its a rifle powder mainly 233 the lovex website does not specifically list the /2460 but does show that the D073 line is a double base powder. I just thought that perhaps someone here has tried it and can offer some advice. thanks
  10. when o when will they do a production run of 121 IFP. I keep seeing the in stock page and already have plenty of 40, 45 and 9 in other weights and tips but I really need the 121.
  11. www.goshoot.com but I dont think he lists product on the web site other than SVI's when they come in. you can call and they will ship. Yes both father and son are outstanding hard working honest individuals.
  12. I completely agree with this statement. In addition, if you are using all new quality components and loading concientiously I see no reason why you can't carry what you load. I would trust my custom tailored and cronoed loads over factory anyday and if you wanted to seal the primers and crimp that's easy enough to do.
  13. she called me around noon sunday and indicated that she would be making calls for the next few days. her words were " I screwed this up and I am the only one who is fixing it "
  14. I have a 1050 which technically only has a one year warranty. I called to get the little split plastic feed retainer at the bottom of the primer feed tube. I wanted to pay for it, I offered and tried to pay for it and they would not let me. 3 days later there were 5 in my mail box I expect to be purchasing 2 more 1050's during this coming year......without any hesitation.
  15. MG is in my contact list so the number and address popped right up. She confirmed with the correct order numbers and was very proffessional and apologetic for the mishap. Other wise yes I would have never acknowledged. Good advice I am always very suspicious of stuff like this.
  16. well I thought it was too good to be true. They just called me also. Poor lady has a lot of people to call. Bonus is they will be listing a greater quantity in a day or two
  17. I would not do that for three reasons. there is variation in case weight especially if reloading different case stamps and second there may be partial charges or inconsistent charging if the fail safe was not "snapping" or the powder bar was not moving fully. bets bet is to break em down and take no chances.
  18. install firefox as your browser and get the free add on called scanner update. navigate to the page you want checked and set it to check every 15 min for any change. if you set it to check any more frequently the host may ban you. thats how I have been doing it for the past month. I also dont wast time shopping and trying to get multiple items in your cart. I get one item in the cart and check out then repeat. its like making your own custom gun bot that checks all pages from different vendors for the specific items you are looking for
  19. Well that was fast, bullets are still available but the sale prices are gone. dang you have to act fast and really be on the ball. I have my CC number in paste mode. Log in, put one item in cart, check out and repeat for additional items.
  20. MG just listed a bunch of 9mm at deep discounts, like 100 off a case size and $40 per 1000. go get em while they are hot my friends. Wow deep discounts on 40 and 45 also. like at least 30% regular pricing
  21. You must have just missed the JHP's They were up there at 7:10 AM EST when I went shopping there. It really is shocking how quickly the product sells out. There was a ton of stuff up there just after 7AM and it's almost all gone now. I wish that federal #205 primers would start showing up somewhere on a regular basis for a decent price, Like under $132 for 5K.
  22. 9 and 40 are still in stock. Waiting for them to do a run of 9mm 121 IFP's........I am glad to see that they have been adding inventory each week on a regular basis.
  23. on a new powder drop I tumble the metallic charge bar parts for about 30 mins, lightly polish the the other parts. I also clean the plastic hopper with dishwashing soap and wipe it down with a dryer sheet every so often. The keep it over half full tip above is also good practice. I load 4.3 under a MG 200 grain JFP. averages 831.44 on a 10 shot string out of a Dan Wesson OCC @ 10ft from the crono.
  24. 9mm , 40, and 45 are available right now, just ordered 9 and 45
