  1. I shoot production also. You didn't say which platform we are talking about. Harder to pinch the meat of your hand between mag and gun with the larger base pads vs. the stock. More weight Looks great Easy to remover and clean Still fits in the box and makes weight Easier to number Some times it hard to justify cost when they cost about the same as a mag. I think they are worth it.
  2. http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1262 Delead hand soap. They also have towelettes
  3. 8.3 in a sti Trubor @1.165 OAL with MG 124's =169 pf
  4. I'm thinking a trip to harbor freight is in order. Thanks Sarge!
  5. Rest in peace Todd. Cancer sucks and is a never ending battle.
  6. Just my thoughts: If the RM rules, and you still question the call, then your next avenue would be to plop down a 100$ For arbitration. Not ask for the other RM.
  7. Have some membership applications at sign in, and if they join (you keep app/money and send it in) allow them to shoot the match for free.
  8. As I wake up its 12 degrees in Northern Virginia. High of mid 20's expected today. Brrrr
  9. Would not the reloads off the barrel be part of the challenge to be solved in freestyle?
  10. Your point is...? If the definition of reloading, per the rule book, is inserting mag or speed loader into the gun, and the WSB states that reloads must come from the barrels, putting the mag on your belt it is not reloading. If you then use this mag or speed loader off your belt, your reload did not come from the barrel.
  11. Apendex A3: "Reloading ......................... The replenishment or the insertion of additional ammunition into a firearm. The reload is not complete until the magazine/speed loader is fully inserted and the firearm is in battery, (slide forward or cylinder closed and ready to fire)."
  12. better prices online if you order in bluk or combine orders with friends to split up the hazmat. but if you order in small quantities, like 2000 primers or a lb of powder (yes, i know a shooter that does this!) you just may find the guns shows are not to far off.
  13. when I'm ready to quit for the day, I turn off the case feedeer and finish that brass. I leave nothing on the shell plate. but the powder, brass, bullets, and primers stay in the machine.
  14. Safe travels, it's always great to go home!
  15. This easy fix solved my occasional flipping issues: Clean both the inside of the RF tube and the primer feed tube on the press. I do this by pushing a q-tip through with the primer rod from the press.
  16. Another option, would be to have someone bring your guns and equipment back after the match while you get on with your vacation. So start talking the match up to your shooting friends!
