  1. ↑ I was going to post something smart to counter this comment but I would rather not... because this isnt doodie project
  2. I want to get the PT rest but heard people were having issues with the nitro fin and the pt one... just a rumor and wanna verify; if people are really having issues. Something about messing up the barrel lugs... is there any truth to this ??? I really want one because I dont want to drill my new frame. I already have gogas one on an old frame.
  3. copied your load ... BC 135gr 3.4/3.5 N320 @ 1.120 @ 0.375 / 0.376 crimp very soft !!! And accurate enough to hit a steel 10/10 Alpha zone at 40yrds
  4. Buddy too a beauty shots of my 5" sight tracker by 1911 Speed Shop... Photo by Paul Cabigao...
  5. Who makes a Lightened Bolt Carrier w/ Forward Assist ??? NiB would be a plus ...
  6. I see what you are saying now. Stock Glocks run from the beginning and your modified Glocks need a breaking in period. Pretty easy to figure out... Stock Glock barrels are soo forgiving while the kkm barrels have alot tighter chambers. And this is further amplified if you load your own rounds.
  7. I have his gen 4 kit and I'm happy with it just dry firing it ... I have yet put a round down range cannot believe the customer service Johnny give out to us customers. I do hope I can find a combination that will light off my winchester / cci rifle primers... looking forward to shredding with this...
  8. Seem to be "OUT OF STOCK" yeah seems like it but I have a local guy with a direct line with bear creek .... so when I get low I just order 10 to 15k and it usually shows up with in a 3 to 4 weeks.
  9. I dont have this issues cuz I swapped out mine with a LEE U die
  10. bear creek ... with the right powder just as clean as anything else out there... but just as cheap !!! I usually order 10k at a time and they come out to $60 per K
  11. sweet might have to copy your load ... but need to maybe hack off 0.3grs cuz I'm using winchester rifle primer
  12. Hey Jared With the sv trigger bow... do you still have prep on the trigger ???
  13. "Fast is smooth ... Smooth is Fast " its what I repeat in my mind before the buzzer... then I try my best not to screw up after the buzzer wow Legends on this thread...
  14. here my 2 contribution ... Tell me what you guys think ...
  15. I cannot say anything about the PT grip yet. I have fondled the grip at a local match but mine has yet to be delivered. The STI on the other hand is definitely slimmer in profile than the polymer grip.
  16. I've had 3 Black STI grips cracked... Had them warranty it and replace with polymer grips. All the STI aluminum grips were fitted correctly where they would just slide on and off. And all of them cracked at the same general area; right above the mag release. Right where the grip meets the frame. 1 = was on my open gun lasted a only 2 matches 2 = lasted for 5k rounds and had stress cracks 3 = lasted only 4months and I could see daylight on it I gave up on aluminum ... And placed an order for a couple of Ti grips from PT... I know PT's aluminum should be alittle better 7076 vs 6061 aluminum...
  17. Did you use to sell used cars? What's the standard stroke? How much do you add? What do you add, less than 10%? Physics still apply. Crash to kiss by adding 10%..... not buying it. uncalled for ... no need for personal attacks when you dont agree with someone.
  18. I felt the trigger today... wow I want one for production... if its production legal.
  19. Yes, but I don't care for them personally. They seem to keep me from getting my grip as high on the gun as I can without them. I'm unlucky cuz I get soo high that I get slide bite all the time and its soo bad that I almost drop the gun at the indoor range.
  20. I saw this and made me wish I had my Glock 24 back ... Now I'm looking for a pair of Glock 34's in FDE and Gen 4's ...
  21. can you use the beaver tail on your Gen 4 Glock since its a factory add on ???
  22. LORD I just got wood... I want one in 9mm
  23. Horse $&!+ The name of the game is keeping the gun on target. If that weren't the case then why would you put a comp on an open gun? You can't put a comp on a limited gun to control recoil so you add weight plain and simple. Every monkey with a milling machine cuts guns up and tells everyone it's "better". Why do you think there is a weight limit for single stack? If weight wasn't an advantage and "slowed you down " why would it matter?Isnt that what I'm saying a lighter gun will always be faster than a heavy gun. And thats the reason why they dont allow slide cuts in single stack because of the weight advantage ...Not at all what you are saying. There is a MAX weight limit for single stack of 43 ounces. Why do you think that is? Because weight (especially in the front) is an advantage.Ok go run you 43oz single stack versus a 36oz single stack on the clock and tell which one is faster??? 7 oz diff or .4375 lbs? I dont think you wont go slow with that pre Pare that 7oz difference ... in transitions you will lose out on the clock to a lighter gun. Every time transitions will be faster on a lighter gun.
