When you say LOA is that over all lenght ??? Factory loads are like 1.126 OAL... And I found out that my Edge is having feeding issues when there's a slight case buldge... I'm going to follow you reciepy and see if I can get the power factor... Thanx in advance for your info

My reasoning is I fell in love with the Springfield EMP 9... But I would preffer to have the options to load more than 10rds in a mag... This is the only reason why I haven't purchased a EMP 9 because of the 9rd+1 mag capacity

One project I've been dreaming of is a double stack 1911/2011 style with a small 3.9" Officer slide in 9mm ... My regular gun-smith ( that does my sight installs) showed me his ccw pistol and I fell in love with it... It was a para p18 frame with an officer slide... I would like to follow suit would be a great carry/self defense pistol. But, I was told by a local gunsmith for local USPSA shooters that they're hard or near impossible to make work on a STI frame... I want to build a Officer Slide from SV with a sight tracker from scheumann on a Para or STI frame... What are your guys opinoin ???

where or who does Ion Bond ??? very interested ... Is this like CCR or Robar finish ??? I have a factory black STI Edge which I would liked in satin finish after installing the sight tracker...

I currently run 140mm STI mags w/ Grams follower & spring w/ Dawso SNL base pads and all I can get is 20rds in a mag... I can force 21 rds in the mag but wont load on the pistol... It gets caught up or I have to jam it in and even then it wont load one in the chamber...

I apologize its a 40sw edge. I was shooting Remington 180gr UMC and Fiocchis 170gr ... I'll be doing my own loads as soon as I get the Montana Gold Bullets I purchase... My rounds are Montana Gold 180gr fmj, with WST powder and Winchester primers loaded on a Dillon Square Deal... Another question ... is there a Tungsten recoil plug that will work with the dawson tooless guide rod ???

This is on my STI Edge: I switched from a Tungsten guide rod with an unknown spring ... To a Dawson Tooless guide rod w/ a 13lbs Wolff spring. What I noticed is the pistol flips alot more but my grouping @ 10, 15, and 20yrds are alot better... I'm going to switch to a 12lb spring tomorrow and re-check... I liked how nose heavy the pistol was with the tungsten but after 200rds of reloads my strong hand was actually tired of holding the pistol. I like how my grouping was better with the Dawson tooless and the 13lb spring. But dont like how it slowed me down because I lose the front sight... Whats your guys advice ???

I have a 18.5" Barrel and the +2 rd extension is flush with that ... Now I added a TruLock Tactical Muzzle on the end which pushes overall lenght to 21" I use the +3 which is almost flush just the tube is slightly longer... +2 will give you 7 rds in the tube, 1 Ghostloaded, and 1 in the Hole +3 will give you 8 rds in the tube, 1 Ghost, and 1 in the hole...

I went with a Hybrid Match/LEM if your running production... Best way to have the same trigger pull... You wont deal with the 13lb DA ...

This is for my STI Edge ... I've already have 8lbs of WST, 5000primers from Winchester, 4000 once fired/cleaned brass and 2500bullet heads of 180gr FMJ from Montana Gold. So cant change stuff around this is what my buddies advised me to purchase... So I need to find the right reciepy to make this combo go for Major... Anyone have suggestion for over all lenght and how much powder to make major ???

I've recently acquired a completely stock STI Edge in 40sw. I purchased a few upgrades for it already... I wanted to do/learn to do the hammer install myself... I feel comfortable with doing this, I've done hammer swaps, variant changes, hammer springs, recoil spring, and match trigger installs on my HK USP. The 1911/2011 pistol platform is something I want to learn to install parts on by myself... Unless it requires fitting... I purchase a Doug Koenig Low Mass Split hammer and would like to install this on my STI... Is there any tips you guys can give me ??? or is there a video on how to do it ??? is it the same way as a 1911 hammer swap where you have to notch the hammer to retain the pin inside it ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated ... Thanx in advance

is there a spacer or something I can do to make this holster hanger fit my 3" belt which I preffer using than the CR Speed ones ???

Currently starting to learn how to do reloads got buddys whos teaching me but none of them loads 40sw (mostly 9mm and 223) ... I'm using Montana Gold 180fmj with Winchester WST and Winchester primers ... Anyone use this combo and know a good recipes for a soft major ??? I've search, either I'm blind or just not using the correct combonationof words to find what I'm looking for...

I currently have Grams follower and spring w/ Bollen 4mm pads on my 140mm mags. And can only load 20rds in them. Is there a better combo to push 21rds ??? Or is there something I can do to my current set up ??? or be happy @ that ??? I would like to stay in the legal lenght for Limited Division 141mm, current setup measures 139.5mm

I fell in love with these bullets... Where can I get some for cheap ( because I'm hi-volume shooter) I shoot USPSA and in-door range a day for matches to get my trigger control better... 2nd question does anyone know who makes jacketed ones ???

If you have a DA/SA Variant 3 then any Wolff Spring for the USP will work. But if you have an LEM, I wouldnt know I took a Wolff USP 12lb spring and cut off 2 coils and it had problems with hard primers other than federal primers...
