  1. OTHER: Fred Craig built my open gun. Its a shooter and a keeper!
  2. I liked this movie alot too. The basic storyline could have been very boring and cliche but it was not. Good action but not over the top. Liam did a great job.
  3. I love Dillon's customer service but sometimes I wonder on how their profit margin is with all the service they provide their patrons.
  4. +1 on Marvel. I have one on a dedicated STI frame and its a tack driver. Only thing is that the mags are a pain in the a$$ to fully load. http://www.marvelprecision.com/ You can also buy these conversions at www.midwayusa.com I got mine from Midway b/c I didnt want to wait a couple months for it to come from Marvel.
  5. Hi Marc, Thanks for looking into this. I have become so resigned about the restrictions in NJ that I don't bother looking into stuff anymore.
  6. The good news is that Cabela's online store has Remington large pistol primers in stock. The bad news is that they won't deliver them to my address in NJ. Sometimes I hate my home state fro its gun legislation.
  7. Jay has been working on guns for a long time. I remember he was the guy who showed me how to field strip a 1911 years ago.
  8. I like 124g bullets. Lots of good recipes out there for this bullet weight and its a popular weight so readily available. If you do a search you will find alot of information on loading 9mm minor. All I can say is that what works for Dave S may not work for you. You got to find out what feels good to you in your gun. Only way to do that is shoot lots and reload with different recipes.

    PAINTING

I usually hire people to do my painting. More expensvie that way but don't have to deal with the nonsense.
  10. Wow, these are all great suggestions from you guys. Thats what makes this forum so valuable! Personally, I got rid of my flinch by doing alot of dry fire practice and spending range sessions only shooting 9mm. The 22 or airgun thing never really helped me b/c I think part of my flinch came from the noise.
  11. Here is my new ride for this season... Cervelo RS 56cm Campy Chorus 11 Speed groupo Reynolds Assault carbon clincher wheelset
  12. Ted Yost at Heirloom Precision did an excellent job on one of my 1911s
  13. Limited gun: Rusty Kidd and Benny Hill Open Gun: Fred Craig 1911s: EGW, Fred Craig, and John Harrison
  14. I have 2 pair of the Rudy Project Kerosones w/ a number of different lenses. I use them for shooting, bike racing, and just driving around town. The only complaint that I have about them is that the rubber nose bridge pieces become loose and get lost easily. I have to order another pair from Rudy and they charge me $6 for the pieces and $8 for shipping and handling. Go figure. No Dillon customer service here.
  15. +2 on Wilson. Solid Bar stock. Good stuff.
  16. I had the newest version of the XSI until this November. I bought it from Costco which allows me 90 to use it then return it if not satisfied. I was satisfied with it but returned it b/c I did not see myself using it much since my Canon 40D is my primary camera and has never failed me (kind of like a well built race gun). I also was more comfortable with the controls and the larger size of the 40D since I have big hands. With that being said, In my opinion the image quality on the XSI was slightly better then the more expensive 40D and it had a crisper, brighter LCD screen then 40D too. You get alot of camera for the money with the Rebel XSI. Nice features and great photos. Also, if you buy the 18-55mm lens that comes w/ the kit you will be getting a pretty decent piece of glass with image stabilization to boot.
  17. Not to steal the thread but...How about using Win small pistol Magnum primers for 38 super, 9mm, and 40SW? I have 2000 small pistol magnum primers sitting on my shelf and I would like to use them for something other then 357 magnum (which I do not reload for).
  18. Thanks for the tip guys. I just downloaded 3.0 and it cooks! Much faster then my previous version of Mozilla!

    Nonpartisan Joke

I'm passing that one on! Thanks
  20. Same issue here with my Para and the Meg Gar mags. I got a good price on them and liked the quality. Too bad they don't function perfectly in my Para.
  21. "Wishing Well" by Terrence Trent Darby "Tooo Shy" by Kajagoogoo "Always Something There (to remnind me)" by Naked Eyes "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood ANd the hits just keep on coming....

  23. My SVI double stack 45 with surfire x200B attached to tactical rail and my Knights SR-15 carbine with Eotech
  24. I have owned a couple in my lifetime and STI made them. Maybe STI stopped making them due to a lack of demand. Paul
  25. I would get the spare parts kit too. Dillon is excellent at sending you a spare part quickly when you break something on your press. It does take a couple days to get that part in the mail. I would rather have the spare part already there so I can install it and continue my reloading session. Paul
