VW for Terrorists

If only they would actually show that on the Aljazeera Network.

Your homeowners and auto policy have an upper limit as to what they cover. The umbrella policy has a lower limit where it picks up the homeowners and auto. There cannot be an uncovered gap between the two. So in some cases you can lower the limit on the umbrella to meet, and in some cases you have to raise the upper limit on the auto and home to meet the lower limit on the umbrella. Okey-Dokey!
3. I tried my Blade-Tech holster for Kimber Compact (commander size) and Dillon 1.5" heavy duty leather belt and was pretty certain it would pass the "no sunshine" test, as belt loop narrows in front to closely hug belt. Also pretty certain my Sooper Hooper will not pass the "no sunshine" test. Thanks Mike!

Holsters

Actually, on a positive note, during my dry fire practice this morning, I had a chance to really inspect both my Blade-Tech and Sooper Hooper holster. Without a doubt, the Sooper Hooper allows one to see DAYLIGHT, however, my newer Blade-Tech absoluteley narrows down the belt loop to a size were DAYLIGHT cannot be seen. So . . . thanks to the Blade-Tech people for anticpating a not yet projected but IDPA created problem (no bash intended).
5. "Disconnection or disabling of any safety device on any gun." I take it that this puts the final kabosh on anyone diabling the grip safety and having it picked up in a safety inspection?

Holsters

"If you look through the belt slot area of the holster with it on the belt/body, you should not be able to see any daylight. If you can see through this belt tunnel area, the holster is not approved." So my brand new Blade Tech and Dave Elderton Kytac SooperHooper Kydex holsters have been outlawed! UNBELIEVABLE
7. Magnolia - "Things fall down. People look up. And when it rains, it pours."
8. Affirmative - CAT CRAP, order three (a lifetime supply) at a time for the discount.
9. Wanting to purchase - is the smooth or checkered better (pros or cons)?
10. Shoot my Glock 34 in both USPSA and IDPA in Production. Carry my Glock 26 (size matters).
11. Methinks it's time to get out the old MasterCard. Thanks people!
12. ANSWER: Just hangs with a blank screen, can be cold rebooted and goes to the same blank screen again.
13. Will try that next and advise. Thanks!
14. The system is about 6 years old. I wiped and reloaded Windows and the Update without any improvement. I'm sure I'll just remove the machine and replace it rather than go the Linux route where I have no experience at all. Mom would use it for email and word processing (MS Office loaded), and sometimes surfing the web on match.com looking for a 70 year old hottie to keep her company. Just so wierd how it seems to load up perfectly, then right before going to desktop . . . BLINK and out with no recovery. I thought maybe it was overheating, but fans, etc. seem to be working. Will probably try to donate it to charity with a disclaimer and replace it.
15. My office refurbished lots of LAN used computers and offered them for sale. Brought one home and gave it to my Mom who is computer phobic, rather than just using MYMAILSTATION.COM. Worked fine for a couple of weeks, then during the typical booting up process in Windows 98, shows me the clouds background, then blinks out. Any idea what is going on here? Should I stop being a cheap $hit and just buy her a brand new machine (that she will probably never use)?
16. All the above, and Glocks in general are extremely problematic when it comes to what their factory calls, "Weak Wrist" shooting. Try shooting off a bench and see if the same thing happens.
17. Please read info at website, you are not welcome unless LEO or closely related.
18. Have shot in several matches where a black pistol was stenciled onto a fully exposed target. In one case, I believe it was simply to identify a bad guy. In the PA State Championship, a rifle was stenciled on a target and it was considered hard cover and resulted in a miss if shot. Did I miss something in the rules that specifies how these stencils getting shot, are to be counted?
19. Was there yesterday for IDPA Safety Officer Training: If you are shooting a semi-auto, you must wear a cap with brim (to prevent ejected brass from hitting you in your eyes). They even have neat, white "painter" style caps available if you didn't bring your own. Very valuable training session (for any shooting discipline) tought by terrific instructors, if you ever get the chance.
20. It recently appeared in the NY Times, that in NYC where world's worst traffic exists, most of the push to cross buttons have been disconnected by the traffic authority.
21. Here in the greater Northeast part of the US of A, the general rules of engagement before any type of weapon is brandished, is "an immediate and unavoidable grave physical threat to an innocent". Although I'm sure this was not a pleasant experience and that I would have reacted in a similiar fashion, these obnoxious pains in the neck are not why we carry a weapon, concealed or otherwise. Just my opinion.
22. Would a 10 pound brick or 10 pounds of feathers hit the ground first? If the bullet was fired flat (read no upward trajectory) and the brass was ejected perfectly horizontaly, then the statement is probably true.
23. Charlie was kind enough to answer my questions as follows: I can't wait!
24. Say good-bye to those Dr. Martens, soon to become puppy teething toy!
25. Wasn't it Massad Ayood who said, "He would rather forage for food in a toxic waste dump, than shoot at an indoor range", or something along those lines. I wonder if he still participates at the S&W range in Springfield, MA, where in previous years he was in charge of the IDPA Winter Nationals?
