  1. Just ran some tests on MG 165g JHP using 5.1g Titegroup. Was was on the line between a/b on headshots (25ft) and mostly A shots out to 25 yards, close enough for me
  2. L-10 with a Glock 35 works if you you get b/c/d hits, doesn't hurt the overall score as much. I've had new shooters use my G35 Major and be able to handle it.
  3. Just got the spring, nothing like getting OEM spring that it working like it's suppose to!
  4. +1 for C-rum, just installed one of his carriers and works great. I also suggest that try different belt carriers for shells, 4x, 6x, and 2x4 carriers and see what works for you. ETA: Be careful when you take the trigger assembly apart for the lifter swap, there is a trigger spring part that will fly across the room if your not careful.
  5. Sounds like a good plan! I'm hoping the G35 will be in the same ballpark.
  6. The e-lcip did not hold up, it slipped out and had to do a field repair on the Benelli. I used a target pasters on each side of the main pin and it held up fine for the rest of the match. One of the ROs said that he can get Benelli parts, so reached out to him. New lifter worked just fine
  7. Squaded up and cannot wait for this year! No double Texas stars please!
  8. You can do both, as long as its safe. One trick is to learn to reload on the walk/run as your moving from target to target. Also look into shell holders that fit on your belt, that way you can load 4 or 6 at a time, it will help speed up loading. Yes you can drop one in the breech, if you need to take that one shot and your dry. It works if you have the one slug shot and miss, or it's in between stages of shot.
  9. Yes a Dillon SS will work on 9mm. You might have to adjust it to make sure that its not swaging the primer pocket. If you can swage and then shoot a couple, you'll know that you have it right. If you have someone in the local area who has one, you can knock a bunch out in a day or two.
  10. Does the bolt look like its running slow? I had to oil the recoil spring in the stock.
  11. The answer is yes for both GSSF and USPSA. Do they let you change the awful plastic sights at least?
  12. Thanks for the info, that's about what I figured the load would be. Interesting on accuracy for 165g, I just got a shipment, so will have to see how it goes. I tried loading 5.0gr of Titegroup behind a Montana Gold 165gr JHP at an OAL of 1.135" and, though it made Major (barely), my G35 just wasn't as accurate as when shooting 180gr bullets (which is interesting because my 1911 prefers 165gr bullets with S1000).
  13. Shoot both a G34 and G35 stock, except for sights. If you ever shoot GSSF, it needs to be stock except for a couple of categories.
  14. I can shoot my G35 in limited 10, similar to production, same round count without having to buy extra equipment like limited. There also is a scoring difference between major and minor. Last major I was in there where 3 competitors in L-10.
  15. I also would add dryer sheets to cut down on dust and absorb dirt and grime. Used Nu-finish straight just like the Dillon polish.
  16. Looking for a load for a G-35 MG 165g JHP , Titegroup.
  17. Combination of a PSA and asking for reasonable parts source when you put a new lifter (Thanks C-Rum!) On a Benelli M1 S90, the Trigger Guard Pin Spring can shoot across the room into a large pile of reloading supplies. I put a e-clip on it and ready to start testing. Any reasonable sources for Trigger Guard Pin Spring? $7-10 part with shipping ranging from $5 to $7.50, it should fit into a standard envelope.
  18. Blade Tech DoH fits both the 34 and 35 and is reasonably priced.
  19. Watch some videos on Bullseye shooters, they shoot one handed all the time. Its great practice for one handed. Bottom line is practice, we had a qualifier the last USPSA match using stong hand only.
  20. Think that at least one classifier is a good thing. Tough to tell if three GMs will show up in one division.
  21. You've raised your son right, too many kids would throw a fit. He did the right thing and understand that first and foremost, its about safety.
  22. Watch the people before you, just shot a Texas Star last month and should have another one this month. Did just fine on the star, just don't chase it.
