  1. My experience has been the same as Kevin's and TRP's - factory trigger is plenty good enough. My only complaint with the gun is the sights.
  2. Let me know if you like how the CZ shoots - I've got an Angus tuned CZ SP01 I'll sell you
  3. well, i have shot the XD as well....In fact, I was shooting the MP and XD back to back just last weekend. Both were stock guns - The MP was the better shooter for me by a long shot. My rating, which doesn't mean anything, would be the MP, Glock, CZ, Beretta Elite II, XD - I threw in a few guns you didn't ask about
  4. they're both solid choices - I've shot both but I haven't shot the MP with a trigger job. My CZ had the Angus trigger work done and the trigger is really nice. The MP with a stock trigger was still plenty decent. My preference between the two for a PRD gun would be the MP. You should try to shoot both. You can't go wrong either way, however.
  5. I agree...Avery is the guy - until Rob gets there
  6. similar to the glock sights?? Bryan..have you been shooting this gun?? Please PM with info..thanks Yes, they will be similar to the glock sights - PM enroute on the other.
  7. Dave is coming out with sights for the MP. I Just talked with him today about them as a matter of fact.
  8. Matt, I sent you a PM regarding a DOH for a STI that I have. Bryan
  9. Yeah, the CR pouches are legal - Regarding the holster, since you don't want to get the DOH you might look at the bladetech Stingray or something from comptac or even Kytac. The stingray holster is essestially the same holster as the DOH except it has a different belt attachment. Good luck...
  10. Flex - PM sent. I've been waiting for an opportunity to help another shooter with bullets - eerw helped me at the DTC last year, and I'll be glad to pay back...
  11. Well, neither one of us have made much money on this deal yet...
  12. I bought mine from Dawson Precision - http://www.dawsonprecision.com/CategoryPro...CESSORIES:Belts Yes, the DOH is legal in Production.
  13. Mine runs fine with factory ammo -
  14. Nice guns - I saw one of them on Sunday when I was at Dave's.
  15. I voted for mostly stock / limited mods - Also, I don't think PD should be viewed as strickly an entry level division. It certainly can be a great entry point into USPSA but there are also some very experienced shooters that focus their efforts in Production. Either way, I'll continue to shoot it because it's a challenge and I like the concept. Chuck, thanks for asking the question. BW
  16. Drew - +1 to what Dave just said - It was nice meeting you and come visit us again if you can. Don't be too hard on yourself - you did much better than you're giving yourself credit for. I was impressed with your run on the big field course given your short time of shooting competition. You shot that HK very well. Good luck -
  17. Shoot what fits you the best - Since last summer I've tried a wide variety of production guns. I've shot the G17, Beretta E2, CZ SP01, and G34 - I like all of them for different reasons but the Glock's work the best for me -
  18. yeah, sure did....it was running about 130pf from a G17 - I haven't checked it in the SP01 but I'm pretty confident it would be okay.
  19. Hey Stu - I'm not sure about the 124 or 147 American Eagle but the 115gr American Eagle is about the most accurate 9MM round I've tested. If I were going to shoot factory ammo in production it would be American Eagle 115 gr. YMMV -
  20. I'd be interested in hearing more on this as well since I own 3 DOH's holsters. I'm not thinking it would be a smart move to outlaw these but I don't make the rules -
