  1. I'm not sure of what state you are in, but here in Ohio some community colleges have transfer modules with 4 year institutions. Im currently pursuing a degree in accounting. I'm attending Sinclair Community College then those credits transfer seamlessly over to Wright State University. It's not just state schools; some private schools are on the transfer list. Don't know if this works in your state, but it's something to look into.

    G35s for sale?

I liked my G35 I'm just more interested in production now. I don't reload and can find 9mm locally cheaper. I traded my G35 for a G34 or I would have kept it.
  3. I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but I'm trying out some Landsharks this season at the first outdoor match. I've never fallen during a stage but have slipped during a walk-through. It made me think.
  4. I used a little desensitization therapy to get rid of my flinch. If there is an indoor range with gun rental nearby rent a 44 mag and that will make your 9mm seem pale in comparison. It also might damage your hearing a little. Only put a couple live ones in the cylinder. This worked for me, might not work for everybody. I also overcame my fear of flying by taking flying lessons. Or just shoot shoot and shoot till the bang is just a normal thing.
  5. I have wounded a couple no shoots and what not with this problem. It is a mix of trigger control and a need to adjust the sight to the right a little. My stock rear on my 19 is drifted slightly right and I'm trying DP perfect impacts on my 34 right now. I'm shooting much better around 25 yds where I've been the weakest in my short shooting career.
  6. i looked it up, looks cool, and its nice that its non toxic. I think I will try it out.
  7. Keep an eye on Gunbroker.com. I've found a few deals on there. Might save a hundred bucks.
  8. I love the Perfect Impact sights I just put on my 34. I went from fiber optic to straight black and it has improved my accuracy, especially farther out.

    3K and counting!

It's very tempting to be "antagonistic" here so you would have to close your own thread. But, I'm not that kind of guy.
  10. I wondered what could be funny about a homeless man's funeral..now I know.
  11. I had never shot a ruger semi auto till my buddy let me shoot his Sr9 I liked it. It took me a minute to figure out how to drop a mag though, his mag release I had to push forward.
  12. if you can find a slide and ejector, it will be production legal. The external parts can't be aftermarket so it has to be Glock. Or throw your 22 in the Classifieds and see if someone want to trade. I did a 35 for 34 trade recently because I wanted to change divisions.

    I hate gun shops

+1 I found an Ffl who does transfers for half of what the gunshops charge. Nice guy. I tried paying extra because I didn't have to go to a gun shop and he wouldn't accept.
  14. Where is the range located in Kentucky? I want to go but just want to see how realistic driving down from Dayton would be. When does it start in the morning?
  15. I made the mistake when I was new and bought a GI p1640 off Gunbroker not knowing what I was getting. The gun runs like a freaking top but no adjustable sights and smaller grip safety if you don't get a limited. No ambis either. The lower is race ready after some work from an anonymous gunsmith but I still need to get a bomar cut on the slide. Mine is an older Canadian built one (2001) but 5000 rounds of the cheapest shelf ammo I can find and it has never jammed.

    Gun Show

Wouldn't knock someone for having a cheap gun if its all they can afford. Everyone starts somewhere. My first gun was a Marlin model 60 from walmart. I spent hour upon hour blasting pop cans when I was a teenager. Good times.
  17. I've experienced great reliability from the factory mags. I do have a couple el cheapo knock offs( they actually do run good, but I won't carry them or use them at a match) that I use for reload practice.5.99 a piece from cdnn. I've used the Dawson basepads and springs with the factory follower to add capacity for limited, no problem there either. My complete lack of gunsmithing skills and money makes me really enjoy Glocks

    Gen 4 G-35

Cool! Congrats. I haven't got to shoot a Gen 4 yet, looking forward to trying out that new recoil system.
  19. Awesome videos. I'm going to try that popper trick at the next match..... But in all seriousness good informative videos.
  20. http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=344621 Found this thread on gunbroker. I would venture to say not worth much. No expert here though. The thread basically says a couple hundred bucks possible collector value.
  21. I oiled it up after application. I cleaned the scratched areas with alcohol, heated it up with a blow dryer (saw this on another forum), and put on two coats.
  22. Figured that. I put it on my para where I scratched it playing gunsmith, it does look ok but I will see how it holds up. I've learned I'm only smart enough to tinker with glocks.

    blackhawk holster

    Thanks. It is permanently disabled.
  24. I would post this as a wtb ad in the classifieds on top of this ad.
  25. I shot my first idpa match today and will be shooting more in the future. I have a blackhawk serpa holster with the lock button removed (what I use in uspsa production) I used that holster today,no one said anything about it. But, is modifying a holster like that technically legal in idpa? I just don't want to show up at a different club and not be able to use it. Thanks for any input.
