  1. I think much of this actually involves the differences in USPSA multigun and outlaw multigun, of which the original question addressed both specifically. My bad.
  2. Our club broke it down over three months shooting and Krylon/Rustoleum lead the charge in coverage and price. We shoot in the desert and the Krylon dries way faster than Rustoleum. The rollers came in first for least cost effective due in part to product lost, including brushes, paint, and shooters. Don't buy the cheap paint...PERIOD, it's a waste of time and money. My .02
  3. What a tease, I was looking to battle with someone on behalf of Blue. Bummer
  4. Welcome to the forums. Tons of info to be had, enjoy.
  5. Welcome to BEnosverse, enjoy the ride...
  6. Congrats and welcome to the addiction. Sounds like your off to a good start. First and foremost, it's not where you finish, it's that you did, safely. As for your first lesson, seasoned shooters in my club still do it, even when we warn them ahead of time, so good job spotting the problem try not to let it happen again. To the second, I carry enough to feed four or five and I don't take home left overs, I split it up to about half sugars and half proteins, guess which goes first. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, especially with the summer, but in the winter as well, people don't think about it. We shoot in 110 degrees, so we are super sensitive about it. Be safe, have fun...
  7. A couple of years ago I posted about my Dupuytren's just before surgery. Now two years have passed, two surgeries have been done and I'm currently awaiting the third, I feel your pain. This time I am having EVERYTHING biopsied and second opined. It doesn't just affect your shooting, it affects everything. Between back and hand surgery, I have had 7 surgeries in the last two years, my gun vault is a ghost town and I'm still in pain. If it wasn't for my wife, I'd spend a lot more time in a much darker place. If you get tired of holding on to those components, come out to Arizona and I'll put on a "Handy-capped" match for Carpal Tunnel and Dupuytren's sufferers. We'll run it like "Who's Line Is It?", the rules will be made up and the points won't matter. Heal soon and smile often... Just checked, you were there as well... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155740&hl=%2Bdupuytren%26%2339%3Bs#entry1812339
  8. Welcome to the BEnosverse! Take advantage of the millennia of knowledge available and have a good time. I shoot Vegas occasionally at Desert and Pro, fun times.
  9. When people stop looking at the RO position as "friggin' work" and accept that it's part of the game, therefore getting involved and learning something, it'll go way smoother. The guy that "iced" me last weekend is a habitual non-taper/setter/brass picker, etc. Most of the people who have trouble seem to be of the same caliber (pun intended). I understand the veterans being intimidated by iPoops, Nookies and other electronic scoring devices, but at least help out and set, tape and brass. It is really aggravating to have someone run you with the wrong range commands, lack of attention and no enforcement of rules, when three shooters earlier I taped, set steel, timed and scored for them!!
  10. I was still fuming about the guy that said that to me. Different rant. Thanks
  11. Heck, you could have told him to read the OLD rulebook. It has not changed lately. Sarge, I got it on video and it makes me even more angry when I watch it. I understand he's been doing this a looonnnggg time, but the rules are the rules. I have the discussion all the time with shooters about what the range commands are, they still don't get it, so I printed them out and put them on the timers, too hard to read. Make ready...Are you ready?..Stand by...seems kinda easy, but I've been wrong before.
  12. Got "iced" by an RO this weekend. First I just waited, then he asked for a head nod turned and talked to his buddy and missed it, when I finally went full bobble head, he hit the button. The new rulebook just came out, I told him to give it a read and he informed me that as I didn't respond, he didn't have to. I think the rulebook is very clear on this, not even a smidgen of gray, of course I read at a fourth grade level, just saying...
  13. Congrats. Just went the email route and got a response in just over an hour. Starting to see the forest for the trees.
  14. Grammar Nazis...at ease!!
  15. Posted at near 0100 and asked for closure at 0735 due to lack of reponse? Probably shouldn't call out a respected company on a respected forum until you have at least ten posts under your belt. Been dealing indirectly with Dillon since I was a kid, never a problem, never a question. I am sending in a broken powder drop for a 550 soon and look forward to being treated with respect and receiving the highest quality available.
  16. Should have mine next week. I'm the local "Wreck It Ralph", so it'll be put through the paces. Personally, I think American made and the keepers make it worth the extra money, plus it's "custom". Buy once, cry once...lifetime warranty. I'll try to keep updates in a different thread.
  17. I'm waiting for my custom made from FBC Tactical. http://fbctactical.com/index.html These belts offer better security with their double overlapped design and they had the best color selection, with a lifetime warranty. I went with the 3Speed and an EDC. Give it a look before you make your decison on an "off the shelf" belt. Tell them ChaosShooter sent you.
  18. I use RedDot for all classes except Open. A little dirty, but cheap and plentiful, usually.
  19. My bad, dead link... try this- http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58752&hl=dillon+550b+case+feeder#entry687846 Search parameter 550 casefeeder.
