Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have a Glock 41 and have been running 4.6gr bullseye for a couple of years. Couple of months back I kicked it down to 3.8gr and the cases barely cleared the gun and fell in a nice little pile under my arms. Now I just bumped it up to 4.1 grains and gun cycles fine and brass lands a couple of feet away. This is with an all stock 41 so hopefully you may have the same results.
  2. I just ordered 100 bullets from Matt's Bullets to reload for my buddy's .38 top break, Got them in .361" diameter. Believe the were $15/100
  3. Not sure you'll get too many people sticking their necks out, especially this close to Thanksgiving (gobble gobble).
  4. I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets a log jam like that.
  5. I've reloaded a couple by accident without much fanfare. They went boom and extracted every time.
  6. Buy one for her too. Her very own personal xl650, and put it next to yours. Think of all the fun time you'll have together. Just couples time. Alone in the reloading room. Nothing could be more romantic. Oh hell, just give her your credit card and a kiss on the cheek.
  7. Nice video, thanks Wich11.
  8. Hey all, I have a Wilson Combat Combat classic 1911 that I "tried" changing the front sight on and wound up mangling the sight, evem after using the MGW Sight pro pusher . The sight was so far from fitting that I could not even get it started a hair until I ran it over a flat file about 50 times. It was a factory bead sight from WC So I'm sure "?" it was the correct sight. I just ordered another one from WC, any hints on what I should do to avoid damaging this one. Do I need to use a triangle file and take down the leading edge of the slide dove tail perhaps? Any help would be appreciated, John.
  9. Started reading this thread and just realized i threw about 80 spp .45 spent cases in with my lpp .45's. Time to go fishing I guess.
  10. Yea there both outfitted pretty good, strong mounts roller handles, case feeders. I figured do it once and do it right. I've been lucky to accumulate 60-70 pounds of various pistol powders and close to 100k primers. No wonder why you guys can't find anything. O.O
  11. nah, I'll still load the primer tubes by hand. This crappy Indiana weather has kept me inside reloading instesd of outside shooting and now I'm almost out of brass.
  12. Bought a Dillon xl650 a month ago or so and it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased; so I bought a second one last week to see if it was any better. I'm a little schizophrenic and so am I. Haha nice presses in all honesty.
  13. Hello from Saint John Indiana, been following this forum for a few months and have learned a lot. Now that I have two xl650 presses I'll make this a frequent stopping place.
