  1. I've tried both red and green on my limited gun but I see the green easier.
  2. That's just my luck, I chose to shoot in a match today instead of waiting on MG to post some bullets for sale. I think I made the right choice.
  3. I can proudly say I didn't vote for him! Oh wait, wrong forum....
  4. I'm able to hold one end of the inner belt with my fingers as I pull the other end snug before I press it against the exposed velcro. If anything I usually get my inner belt too tight.
  5. Must not have lasted long, I just checked and out of stock. I have had the 4lb container on back order.
  6. You can buy blank 45 Colt brass from Starline or make your own. The only difference is the size of the flash hole. Years ago before Starline came out with this brass we used do drill the flash hole out to 1/8". The reason for this is to keep the primer from backing out. If you don't drill it out the primer will back out just enough to lock up your cylinder. Next pack the case full of black powder substitute like Pyrodex. You can use black powder but little dirtier and harder on your gun. The big matches usually use black powder in a crimped case which has a little more range. Next just place a cardboard cap on top of the powder and your good to go.
  7. I only ordered one, you can always give it a try and see what happens. I don't think it will work. Somehow I ended up with two cases in my shopping cart and it told me I could only purchase one so by the time I got rid of one case a message came up and said SOLD OUT.
  8. I have had good luck with the u-die. It's not flared out as much as the Dillon die so you need to make sure you have good alignment with the case. I run Glocked brass and range pick up through it. The u-die will size the case to work with any gun I have. I like running the u-die so I can do it all in one process on my 650 rather than having to prep the case on one machine and then run it through my progressive loader.
  9. Several different favors available right now at Montana Gold.
  10. Looks like they have several 9's in stock right now...
  11. Yeah, I would move it more to the left too so you can setup a scale on your right side and give you a little room to work.
  12. I got a couple tuned ones from Brazos yesterday.
  13. Right on their website; We value your business! Thanks for your patience and your business! If you need to order something that is out of stock, please send us an email with all your info. We will call you when it's available for payment information.
  14. Have you tried calling Roze and having them put you on the list? Only took me a couple of weeks to get 2000 9mm bullets from them.
  15. You will probably getting yours soon because today I got an email from Manny saying he was putting a case of 121's in the mail to me Monday and told me to send him a check when I could. I figured he forgot about me since I have gotten 3 cases of 124's from Montana Gold since I asked him if he had any bullets. I'm not going to turn them down!
  16. I like the Wilson Universal oil however I found out the hard way it was too thick for my new open gun. In the cold weather it wouldn't cycle. I switched over to FP-10 and it worked like a champ.
  17. I have with 9 major and didn't see any difference on the chrono.
  18. I tried to call since I want to switch cards & transfer the balance, but the phone has been busy for a couple days. Usually the phone is answered on the first ring. They must be busy with cancellations............. Have you tried email? I couldn't get through on the phone either so I sent my cancellation by email and they responded about 2 days later.
  19. Have you tried calling Roze Distribution and getting on their backorder list? Their number is 800-204-1526. I sent them an email asking about bullets and when they responded they asked how many. About two weeks later they called and said they were ready to ship and just needed to verify I still wanted them and asked for my credit card number. This was for 9mm 125gr JHP.
  20. Thats where mine comes in handy. I don't check my brass that close before loading but I check each and every one in the gauge after loading. If I have any problem rounds they are easily broke down and corrected. I'll find some that won't drop easily in the gauge so I mark them for practice. The gun doesn't have any problems with them but I would rather use them for practice than take a chance with a jam during a stage.
  21. I sent an order form by snail mail about two weeks ago and they filled it. I was lucky enough to catch their new website up Saturday and ordered another case. Received tracking number and charge to credit card yesterday so it sounds like the second case is on it's way in. Maybe if you try snail mail if they won't accept fax???
  22. I haven't had any luck getting the old Montana website to open but it works ok at http://montanagoldbullet.com/public_html/magento/index.php/. In fact I just ordered another case of 9mm 124gr JHP from them before the price goes up AGAIN!
