Has anyone recently had an order for STI mags filled? Just wondering what the backorder time is rather than the basic email from dawson about it. Had my order in for 2 1/2 months just getting curious.

I'm having the exact same problems with my eagle. I just finished sending STI a message about sending it into them if my local gunsmith can fix the problem. I am getting a FTF on every factory round and 1 out of 10 reloaded rounds. Like you i've polished the ramp as well.

One of my soldiers after an ND in a neighborhood was so scared of the chewing he was about to receive, he put his mag back in his m4 upside down.

What did those run you? I like the groove to the mag release. Also what trigger is that on your trojan?

spartan would fit my budget easy, but i'm trying to sell my sig and if that happens I may pay a little more and go with the trojan.

Awesome, thanks for the quick input. I have several wilson combat mags that i shoot out of my kiber SIS. Since they dont make them anymore I dont really want to do anything to it, that is why I am looking to get a new 1911 to shoot with.

Hello all. Rcently out of the military and I am wanting to get into competition. I know I am wanting to shoot single stack but just curious on everyones opinion as to what would be the best gun to start with between $700-900. Thanks for everyones input.
