  1. Wow, Benos is an awesome place for information. I have a cmore and have had no issues but after this read I will know if or when stuff starts to go silly.
  2. I think there might be a market for a magnetized firing pin. The survivalists will love it.
  3. You should listen FOR THE BEEP not to it. Start moving when you hear the first of the "b..." when we stand there and think -GO we have waisted a bunch of time.
  4. I believe everyone could use some weak hand grip improvement. If you do not work on it you will not be able to keep up a good 70/30 or even a 60/40 grip through a full match. When we start to relax and just shoot without training I bet it goes to round 50/50.
  5. If you build it yourself you should read ALL the info you can find. The best way to save a $ is to know what you need before you start. Time to make list and check it twice.
  6. oh and if you get lost it can tell you which way north is
  7. have you ever polished it? rubbing metalic parts with different types of meterials will cause that.
  8. That's one fine looking short smoke pole!! Building one for myself. Thanks for the inspiration
  9. i had my first two weeks ago, sounded like a wooden dowel slapped my slide so i looked, no ejection for me
  10. as simar posted- I load 147gr berrys over 3.0g vv320, makes 126pf from my g34 factory barrel. very soft.,
  11. wow, been looking at that. Great info!
  12. WAIT!! Whoops, could you please talk a little more about slide weights/ bullet weights and PF as it applys to felt recoil....I am all ears.
  13. Its been said before here and at least once by me...Bobby Carver is one nive guy!! If you have any questions about your build, call him. He answers the phone and doesnt mind. I do not work for him (i would love to shoot on his team) and I have never meet him just talked to him a few times.
  14. I know this is a old thread but if you come back and read this could you please tell us how it worked out. Also a pic would be great.
  15. Just to stir it a little i have this friend who..... he teaches index shotgun shooting. He does and he has had me bust a clay from the hip with a slug...its the truth. His words are "we are always right when we point and say -look at that, so index it right, point you finger and pull the trigger".
  16. I would also like to add that when you can find some 135's, they are very nice also. they seem to be a touch sharper recoiling than do the 147's in front of vitavori 320. 135's are my second choice..
  17. You need to call Bobby Carver and ask him about barrels and comps ... he is the man. Also he will answer the phone which is awesome.
  18. just wondering what you did for your open gun.....
  19. BIG congrats!! very nice gun!!
  20. G22 with a 40/9mm barrel offers more wall thickness due to larger OD, also a very small increase forward weight. Its what im building now.
  21. I'm also building a open glock from a 22, still getting together parts but port and magwell are done. Woohoo
  22. just read through all the posts here, wow!! it was only a two pages when i first read it and that was before i joined. I did this to my 34 a few years back and it does work. thanks joeD! If you want to meet half way I will buy you dinner in Anniston some day.
  23. dang, how do you all know that stuff....i was born in 77 and i remember any of it. hehe!
  24. Ok i have a question... Should I or should I not try this? Its been on my mind. So could some of this be used for practice? OR...close my eyes and use the force.
