  1. I'd suggest upping the powder a little bit and try again. You want to chrono to stop working completely and the sun shades flying at least 15ft away. Barely making PF will get you eventually at a major match. = )
  2. I guess while you're waiting for a full strength striker spring, you can try crush seating the primers. Do you know what pound recoil spring you have in it?
  3. I did have a 14lb Wolff and Springer's reduced striker on there. So I tried the stock 18lb and stock striker spring but it's still the same. Just impacting a little lower now, but left and right is still the same. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  4. mine does the same thing. I have the Dawson .100 covering the middle front hole, and the rear cranked to the right. Shooting lead 147gr and 125gr moly. I slide on 4.5 xdm slide with the factory dot sights and it shoots fine as is. Going to try some JHP this weekend to see if it does anything with the 5.25
  5. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing it's either clear anno or grey color anno. Then the silver-gray color will vary from different batches (what i learned from getting my paintball gun annoed http://www.aplusanodizing.com/about.html) Like my touchpad is a little darker than the macbook. Maybe bring a mac part to a paintshop/Home Depot with a spectrophotometer?
  6. We had a well-liked guy in the paintball community with kidney stones. The surgery for kidney stones costed like $40K. We had a play day to fundraise money, raffles and stuff. One guy even ebayed a rare paintball gun for ~$8 or ~$12K and donated it. Visit Cuba?
  7. I have this issue at first too. Feels muzzle heavy and tall to me (I'm coming from a G19/G17) After about 3 weeks my transitions are about the same now. But the Glock still "feels" much faster and lighter.
  8. At my first local match, they said "The most important rule is don't shoot Mike ( the match director )" at the end of the safety briefing for humor.
  9. I got the .245 and filed it down to .230 Wouldn't work if you're shooting fiber optic though.
  10. +1 +2 - I felt like I just lost $90. Maybe I should just go to limited division.

    ..

Sir, that may or may not be borderline racist. And I may or may not be borderline offended.
  12. You can use the stock mag to shoot in Open. If you have 11 rounds in a mag after the start, they make you shoot in Open also.
  13. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=92961 There's a few more threads. Post #14 by Loves2Shoot is really easy.
  14. Maybe experiment more on getting your grip again after the reload? I have tiny hands, I shift grip even on a thin 1911. On the Glock17 I touch the slide lock with my index finger as a reference point after I push the mag release. Took me about 2 weeks and some blisters to get it to a comfortable level.
  15. Bill, I don't think VLC would affect your other programs. Unless you make it the default player for all medias, then all the icons will turn to orange cones. Wouldn't hurt to try, you can always uninstall VLC. Also, if your XP Pro is a 32bit version (probably), you can try www.DVD43.com
  16. For me, I search and read the forum for some kind of consensus of "the magic load" that works for many. Then tried it. 1LB of powder at a time.
  17. For my G17 OAL: 1.135 Charge: 3.5gr N320 Bullet: Precisions Black Bullet 147gr Primer: Federal small rifle PF: 135
  18. I have the nook, it's on the heavy side to be reading laying down with one hand. I didn't care for the color touch screen or the web browser. I'm thinking about getting the Kindle3. You can check them out at Staples or Best Buy. Pretty thin and much lighter than the nook.

    4 gen mag release

It won't work as a drop in. I think you would have to cut the frame on the Gen3 bigger to make it work.
  20. The magazines can be hard to take apart without a C-clamp or similar tools. If your hands are still small like mine (glove size = small) I would get a lighter striker spring like a Wolff 4lbs; Because I don't have the finger strength/leverage to pull the trigger straight back on a stock pull. The mag release on a Gen4 glock is easier to get to and press. You can get an extended mag release on a Gen3, but it can be too long and stab into your support hand. Something to think about. I started with a Gen3 Glock19 and was slightly unhappy. Now I have a Gen4 Glock17 and love it, not holding me back at all. Got it for $522 new at a pawn shop, they have used glocks for ~$400. Good luck.
  21. +1 on N320, it's like $30 a pound locally. I figured with the money I save shooting molys, I can spend more on a powder that smells better too =)
  22. sometime on old hard drive if you rotate them gently, then power them up, you'll might get lucky.
  23. I have a lighten titanium striker with Wolf 4lbs spring and it eliminated all my light strikes. I'm using Fiocchi rifle primers.
