  1. 3.8g TG on a 124g FP (Bayou Bullet) 1.110 OAL made 131pf all day out of my CZ SP01. TG is a bit more smokey with the coated bullets but works just fine and is an accurate load. Bayou and Blue bullets use the same coating so should be very similar in the load data.
  2. Stop by the shop. Everyone is so friendly and they have all the presses on display just in case you are ready for an upgrade.
  3. If you are shooting alot of 9mm just invest in the U-die and FCD. They will save so many headaches. I used to case gauge my steel/weekend match ammo but after running all the rejects with no problems I don't case gauge anymore. (I have a DW PM9 as well)
  4. or submit question to the NROI on the USPSA website. Then you have a 100% definitive answer.
  5. No its the issue of being able to shoot the course following the rules, and WSB, if a guy can find a different way to shoot it, what is the issue? WSB that aren't clear and knowing what the rules say is what leads to thongs like this. If you want someone starting in a certain spot,,put it in the WSB. Last match was anywhere anyhow, allowed gaming but cut down on R.O. telling people they weren't standing exactly right. Give the make ready, let them shoot jnstead of worrying if one foot is pointed too far in one direction. There is not issue. Outside the shooting area = outside. No faulting, not inside the shooting area, like the WSB says standing outside of the shooting area.
  6. so will everyone else unless the RO is inexperienced. As annoying as discussions like this are, I think it is still helpful in gaining a better understanding of the rules. I would rather have annoying discussions with people who are wrong on the internet than at the range. Believe it or not, this same argument has been brought up at our range by wrong people, but it is now completely squashed. I see these types of issues from time to time at big matches and its never the super squad. (Yes there is sarcasm here). On my stage (I am a cro) it would be a mute point because i would not issue the are you ready command until both feet were outside the fault line. I would have precleared with the RM so no additional discussion would be required.
  7. OP: Are you shooting at a level where a few tenths of a second separate you from taking the overall win? If not there is not much of a point to the discussion. My guess is the super squad will all start with both feet outside of the shooting area.

    Wsf?

    5.4g 1.180 180 frontier plated makes 170 thought my 5" kart barrel,
  9. I have both and the PM9 is a much better 1911. Both Trojan and PM9 run flawless but the fit of the PM9 is.much better. Felt recoil on the PM9 is less and the trigger out of the box is much better. I also like the checkering on the PM9 much more than the cut they, use in the trojan.
  10. One more: 160g bayou rn 3.4g IMR PB (very very close to vit n320) 1.200 oal Starline brass Avg 834.75 PF 133.56 No overpressure signs Shoots very soft and was accurate at 25yds. The heavy bullet really does a good job on steel.
  11. You have to re-chrono your ammo (if required) but switching guns is fine at any point of a match.
  12. You have to re-chrono your ammo (if required) but switching guns is fine at any point of a match.
  13. This is untrue. My custom 2011 has a very nice trigger and is having no issues eating these primers. As someone already posted... I run these for local matches and use my CCI for major matches. I had problems in my Cameron custom. I have to take special care to deeply seat every primer on my 650 to fix the problem. I will not buy them again.
  14. I use 4.3g of pb for a 135pf. Accuracy is very good with this bullet in my 9mm ss and Ltd gun. This is the only bullet I shoot anymore.
  15. Check if there is any drag on your follower when it's inserted all the way. If it rubs take a few swipes on the back of the follower with a file and try again. Repeat until there is no drag. Don'the hack away at the follower. The file removes material fast.
  16. Your gun is a much better production gun. Production is a great division to learn the sport. It was designed to be about the shooter not the gear war so production is perfect to get the fundamentalsame down.
  17. I get 29-9mm, 30-.38sc and I reload to a 140. The mbx tube has been reliable from day 1 with stock guts. Great mags in my opinion.
  18. Check your slide stop to make sure it has not worked it's way out. (You may need a new plunger spring or have a detent cut into the slide stop) if not the make sure the slide spring has then proper tension. I'm assuming you have tried multiple magazines and still have the same issue.
  19. Shoot alphas and have fun. Itc cheaper, mags hold more rounds so alternate stage plans are possible, less recoil ect.
  20. I have made a 168-169 at every match with a chrono for the last 5 years. I believe my risk has been mitigated with historical results.
  21. 5.0g n320 180g mg jhp 1.180 oal Light crimp 5" kart barrel 168 at Rio match chrono.
  22. I think .40 is a little softer but I don't think there is enough of a differnce to,worry about it. I like the .40 so,I can have 1 load for my Ltd and ss major guns.
  23. What did the wsb say? (Ie steel must fall to score)
  24. My 170 has run flawlessly with 30 .38 sc straight out of tne box.
