  1. How about the aftermarket springs? Do they wear out quicker than the stock spring?
  2. did you notice a big difference with the spring changes?
  3. Was it jamming up with the 12#?
  4. Its your basic 34 with a very good trigger job. The trigger breaks at 2.75#. The hieny sights are set at point of aim with an Orange fo front. it has the stock slide spring. It has 5-6k rounds through it and shoots sweet. I run this one production and I have another 34 set up for limited.

There are no issues with the gun. The glocks seem to get smother and smother the more you...

  5. do you have any interest in trading for the CZ? I have an extra glock 34 with heiny sights, a good trigger job and 5 17 round magazines. I would be willing to kick in some cash as well.

    17/22 vs 34/35

    the 34 was banned...hmmmm
  7. I learned to wear a hat the hard way when a hot piecebof brass got stuck between my glasses and forehead. I tried shake it out but it ended up inside my glasses. All the old timers kept telling me that's why you wear a hat.
  8. the sti and glocks are both great guns but very different. I dont think its a fair comparison between the two but both are more than capable of winning a match. As many have said, its the indian not the arrow.
  9. get a trigger job and some sites and have some fun!

    lone wolf .40 slide

I have gone back and re-read some of the spring posts but have not identified the warning signs for a worn out aftermarket spring. Is there a general rule of thumb for replacing them?
  12. I just tried #14 and SS guide rod. I could not tell a difference in the recoil.
  13. production is a fun division with a large field to compete with. Have fun with your new 34!!
  14. gunbroker has some deals from time to time.
  15. I really like the Dawson adjustable with F/O front.

    lone wolf .40 slide

I went and test fired about 100 rounds with a #14 lone wolf spring and SS guide rod with same reloads I have been shooting. I did not have any malfunctions. I will try running it this week and report back.

    lone wolf .40 slide

I am running the loan wolf conversion barrel. The loads are running right at a 125 power factor. (115 grain precision delta bullet and 3.8 grains of tight group. The gun is set up with a stock 34 lower and loan wolf .40 / 357 upper. I have changed out the extract and ejector to the 9mm. The gun is not pulling the brass out of the barrel a couple of times per magazine. (22rds with the extenders) One thing I noticed is The frame is wider even with the 9mm exractor than my G34.
  19. Has anyone had luck converting the Lone wolf .40 slide to run 9mm. I have the 9mm barrel, 9mm extractor, and ejector but I keep jamming up. The round does not eject from the barrel every 5th or 6 round. I'm shooting reloads but have checked every round in the barrel. Is there a trick I am missing? I called lone wolf and the guy told me I need to get more rounds through the barrel so it matches itself to the slide?
  20. I always shoot the target at the top of the rack to stall it. Once stalled, its just a plate rack.
  21. 1: do you know if the +2 will work on a G-37 mag? If so I will take them.

    2: will the +5's work on a 34 mag?

    thank you.

  22. I will take the mag holders for the 1911. PM how you would like payment.

    Thanks,

    Scott

  23. I always shoot my classifiers with L-10, SS and Limited. (for an extra fee) I would love to be able to get 3 cards, but ammo get expensive, so I just shoot the classifier. I don't believe in reshooting within the same division, but that is a personal preference.
  24. There was a 35 advertised in the classified with the 9mm conversion. That would have been a perfect gun for you. I'm not trying to flame, but I watch a guy beat the whole field with his G-34 weekly. I think a good shooter with a good gun will beat an ok shooter with a custom gun everytime. The point of my story is, become a good shooter before you get in the custom gun race.
