  1. Hey Guys. I had to add my 2cents. I shoot a 125 Zero JHP, with 5.2 WST. It makes about 128 to 130 power factor depending on the weather. This means it will make power factor for Action Pistol / USPSA Min / IPSC Min / ICORE. The load will shoot less than 1 inch at 50yrds,bench rest, that does not mean I can hold that at 50yrds standing, but it will do it, no problems. It works for the mover great, and all the other events, I just need to learn how to shoot as well as the rest of you, ( some day ). The one big issue is that it is very tough to have only one gun for all the types of shooting, if you are ok with not always finishing in the top few, then do it, but if you want to do really well, you must have only gun for each sport. Now thats said, I have a 686PC 6", it's real cool, I can and have shot very well with it in all the above disciplines. But my main gun is a 681 / c /1 custom made for AP, its very heavy, but it will shoot the eyes out of a flea, I can't but try hard. Both guns are awesome, I love shooting them, but I should have stuck to an Auto, shot one for 26 years. but I love a challenge. I know gm iprod will have some sort of nasty come back, bring it on. Shoot lots of X's and most of all shoot and have fun. Russell.
  2. I have one at home, in full working order. If you need it bad i think i can ship it fast. PM me if that works, or let Action Pistolero know and he can get hold of me. JRB AP forever.
  3. That's just too funny. Some of us have real jobs to work at, O by they way Coal is still better than Sheep !@#$
  4. Greg you don't use a revolver you use a rifle with a rotating cylinder.Russell
  5. Hello. It can be done, the laws of this land are a bit screwy but thats what we have to live with. I am not near my office, but i will send you the numbers you need to contact to get your firearms into the country. Depending on the type of firearm, it should not be to difficult to do. For me to enter the USA with firearms and ammuniton for the prepose of competition, takes about 10 hours of paperwork, and about 6 weeks waiting. The biggest problem is your US Customs, they do not know your laws and do not know my laws, sometimes it can take 2hours to cross into the USA, but it can be done. I live just north of Toronto, in Ontario. I shoot in the USA at least 6 times a year. I even need a special permit to move my firearms to the Point of exit from my country. You may not carry a firearm on your person in this country, unless you are a Police officer, on duty. This is just the way it is. But i still get to shoot, and shoot a lot. Mags may not hold more than 10 rounds, they must be pinned to not allow any more. This is for Hand Guns, Rifles and shot guns may not hold more than 5 rounds. A total nightmare, but we manage. I will try to get you the info in the next few days. Be Safe, shot straight and have fun. Russell Canadian
  6. Hi Guys I use 5.1 of WST in 38spl brass with a Zero 125 hollow point, or a 125 XTP hollow point. Power factor is 128, makes it for Action Pistol and IPSC. ( minor power factor ) The 2 guns are a 681-c and a 686 preformance centre both with 6" barrels. The load is flat shooting and at 50yrds the rounds go through the same hole if im lucky. Forgot to add, Federal Small Pistol Primers, my Revolvers will not set off the others, to hard. Hope this helps. Russell
  7. Hello guys I just have to add my 2 cents. I have spent the last 28 years shooting IPSC in Canada, Kent got me into the ART of AP shooting in 1996. I had at the time thought the sport of AP was good, but thought IPSC was way more fun. I was wrong, the sport of IPSC has become a sport for lawyers, what used to be great fun has gone the way of he who shoots fastested and misses still can win. The people have changed so much over the past 28 years it's just not fun for me anymore. You guys in the sport of AP have helped me more in the past 4 years than i ever got in 28 years of IPSC. Speed / Power and Accuracy are still the most important thing in this sport, not one alone, but all togeather. I still need to know how to handle myself and keep it togeather for the hole match. ( im trying ) Thanks to all who make this sport fun. As to Marketing AP, it needs to be out there some how. If i can help please let me know. Russell Sorry for any bad spelling.
  8. What suddenly brought this on? By the way, it is spelled LORD. It would seem to me that someone with the nickname "Melon Head" would need the grease. Sorrty for the bad spellinggg, i just had to say somthhing Lord Kevin
  9. To all of you going to the Bianchi Have a great time, and lots of fun. Please give Kevin a little greese for his NOW swollen head. LOARD, now it will not fit in the door of the truck. I will not be able to make it this year, but Kent will be there. Russell
  10. Sorry about the last reply, i am new to this stuff This happened to me at the 2010 Bianchi Cup 2 times on the plates. From position 2 1st string, the far right plate falls before i draw, i look at the RO he does nothing, i try to finish the string. ( not done very well ) From position 3 first string, the same plate falls, i am distracted again and look at the RO, he does nothing again. I had a squib on the last string, so i looked like a goof anyway. I tried to get a ruling on the RANGE Equipment failer but to no avail. I would love to know what the rule is and why they don't do anything about these problems. Thanks russell
  11. I agree with all of you on this subject. I am a newbe to the Revolver, shot an auto in all divisions in IPSC/USPSA. I am now shooting 1 of 2 custom Revolvers in Action Pistol ( 6 shot's ) what a hoot, and the few times i get to shoot in IPSC/USPSA I love to use the Revolver. I am also a left handed shooter, so reloads are a nightmare. Revolvers are 6 shots and game should stay the same. 7 and 8 shots are great, but the problem always comes down to the same thing. " He who has the most money wins ". It should not be this way, but you all know it is. The guy who has a good 6 shot that works well should not be forced to go broke just to play. IPSC/USPSA and the rules of the 2 games promote " he who has the most money wins " no guns in all the divisions except OPEN even meet the reality of of the shelf. Please give me a chance to put my body armor on before you start shooting at me. I have never in my 30 years of shooting, had so much fun shooting my 2 Revolvers. And to those who shot them well it's a treat to watch. Thanks JRB
  12. Hi Mark, are you going to MI before the Bianchi? I can help you with the neck problem. You don't need it anyway. if your eyes are working and you can stand, you can shoot. Remember Kevin MUNCHED his triger finger the day before the match in Bedford, he did good. See you soon Russell Canuck
  13. Who made the Mag well for the firearm?
  14. Ok, Ok i give. I just had no choice, thought it might work. I guess i was wrong. I'll be there anyway, trying to shoot a good score. See you in May. Be safe Russell
  15. Sorry guy's i think i made a booboo. Any way, i have too stick my big mouth in on this one. Is it possible to move the match to later in the year, say late September or early October. If this was done those of us who don't get outside until April, because of the weather, have a chance to shoot some matches. With haveing the Bianchi in late May, it does not allow for many matches under the belt. The Bianchi i think, should be the last match ( culmanation ) of the shooting season, as it is the largest and most prestigeous match. Can you give me a little warning before you all want to shoot me, i need time to place on my body armor. Be safe Russell
  16. Good Day guys, and Happy New Year. I made my first Revolver purchas June 2008, just cause it look so cool. I am 1 of those IPSC/USPSA bottom feed shooters, but now i am a convert. Action pistol with a Revolver is unbeilevable, the 686 prefomance centre i got shoots better that i ever will. With a lot of help from a great man from VA i might just be able to shoot a 1900 in the next few years. All that said, you guys are killing me, i had hoped to join ICORE in the next week. I will travel far and wide to get to a match if its worth it. ( FUN is all that matters to me ) I am from Toronto, Canada. I attend 6 Action Matches a year, as far a the Bianchi, to VA / NY / MD / Driving is not a problem, but finding a good fun match is. I lost all interest in IPSC / USPSA in the last few years because of the cry babies and wanna be lawers. Please tell me were the Caswell Ranch is, and is there any ICORE matches within 1000 miles of Toronto. Am i wasting my time trying to shoot an ICORE match in the near future? Shooting a Revolver has brought me down a few steps, it is the most accurate firearm i have ever used. I need to learn to shoot all over again. Did i mention that i'm a lefty. This is my first post on this on the B.E Form. Thanks for listing, any help is appreciated. Thanks Be Safe Shoot well. Russell Canadian Sorry for ther bad spelling. How does the spell check work on this?
