  1. If he's right that's the pin your MIM 625's use to retain the firing pin. You can rob one or I've got a spare. Those were the ones I was going to order. All the N-frames use the same one it seemed so I was going to start there. I got a phone call from Bob P. and he came up with a solution to get me through until I get the correct parts. Waltermitty, You'll be happy to know that if you ever lose one of these, a #28 drill bit fits perfect in the hole, and a little work with the dremel and you are back in business Thanks for the help Bob

    HELP

I have an older model 627, when you take off the sight, there is a hole on the left side of the frame under the sight. A little rod goes in there that holds the firing pin in. Well I lost it. I can't find any part number from Brownells that resembles this pin. The only thing I found was when looking at the schematics under 610-2, the have a number 18 that sounds like what I am looking for but I am not sure. Tried calling and they are closed for the day. Does anyone out there with greater knowledge than me know where to find this part or if this #18 is what I am looking for. I have a match next week-end and this couldn't have come at a worse time Tom
  4. I lost count on how many, but I do know that each one was only $500.00 Tom
  5. I have a Para P-16 limited sitting in the safe gathering dust if you are interested. 5 mags to boot. Tom
  6. After reading this thread, is it just a coincidence that Flex is looking for a new lawn mower? He says he bought a craftsman but has anyone actually seen it yet? Does he have an alibi for the night in question? Just thinking out loud Tom

  8. I like the taste of the Bob Perdue kool-aid myself(North Mountain holder) It works great. CR-Speed for the USPSA holster. Any Kydex holster for IDPA. Just be prepared to have the finish removed from the gun from the Kydex. Welcome to the club, Tom

  13. Randy, I am the IPSC coordinator for Schultz's. That is where NISA holds there matches. If the weather cooperates I will be at the match. Look for the southpaw with the revolver, or the fire engine red F250 with ladder rack. By all means bring your equipment and shoot the match. You can squad with me if you wish and we will walk you through your first IPSC match. Schult'zs shoots on the 2nd Sunday of the month as well. E-mail me and I will put you on my shooters e-mail list or call me if you have any other questions. Bring your gun and ammo Sunday and plan on having some fun. 14. How did you break the front sight? If it is just the rod itself, you can order replacements without changing the whole sight. http://www.fiberopticproducts.com/Flourescent.htm Tom
  15. Nemos all right in my book as well. Who else would give two guys that he has never met in person before, rides to the range in Tulsa, when it was pouring rain, and all they had for transportation was their motorcycles. Tom
  16. I know I live in WI, but we got 10 -14 inches of the stuff yesterday. 1 week ago I was riding a Harley down the coast of South Carolina, then I come home to this crap You are not alone Z.
  17. I have a CR Speed revolver holster that had to be switched over because I am left handed. There are three threaded brass inserts on the right side of the holster. You only attach to the two lower ones. The top hole is pretty close to the locking lever, I would not use this hole so it does not get in the way of the plastic block that mounts to the metal on the hanger. Very carefully from the brass insert side, drill a small pilot hole through the holster. Be careful not to hit the inserts as you wil screw up the threads. Then from the other side of the holster drill a bigger hole back to the inserts. You don't want this hole to big, keep it a little smaller than the bolt, it will grab on the plastic a little as well. When you put it all back together, the longer bolts go through the plastic and screw into the back side of the inserts now. Thats it. Unfortunatly you can not switch the locking lever around, it will be closest to your body now. Remember that all the bolts on this thing are metric. Tom
  18. Those are in Iowa years Cliff. It's hard living out there Happy B-day Mike. Tom

  23. We now have applications up on the Schultz website for the match. We are using two applications this year, one for staff and one for shooters. Make sure you fill out the correct one. We are still looking for qualified RO and CRO for the match. We will be using the USPSA online squadding this year as well. Stages should be posted shortly, they are done and have been approved. Hotel info will be posted at the same time. We are working with Techwear for our match shirts and staff shirts as well. We will be having lunch catered in by Bubbs Big Texas BBQ again, anyone who has shot here before can vouch for how good the food is. It is shaping up to be a great match, get your applications in and watch the website for more info. Any questions you can reach me at twmainus@wi.rr.com 414-378-2211 Tom Mainus
