Whoa buddy. I made this same mistake myself a couple months ago. I still catch crap for it. Be prepared to catch crap with it for a LONG time if you intend to stay with this girl. Everyone else has given great advice, which I totally agree with. Except the weightwatchers membership thing. (although if you decide to do that, can I have your guns? PM me for my contact info). If a girl stops taking care of herself, I take that as a personal insult because she doesn't care enough about our relationship/me to do so. However you need to keep in mind that if you DO intend to stay with her, she needs to be aware that you are attracted to her for her personality AS WELL AS her looks. Think about it this way: If you started gaining a lot of weight, stopped bathing, etc; would you blame her for being less attracted to you?? -Will PS: dead serious about the guns.

What would prevent you from making a set for an STI/SV?

Let me start by saying that I LOVE wood stocks on guns. I have them on every gun I own that they are available for. I'm having a limited gun built and I want the most unique one possible. Would it be possible to have a set of wood grips made???

$15 per year (It's funded by the state). 50 yard pistol range with steel targets available. Rifle range out to 200 yards with 6 bays. It's a nice place and I've gotten in good with the range master so he lets me collect everyone else's brass. As well as come in after the local Police and Fish and Game wardens have to qualify.

So does anyone see a disadvantage to the polymer grip? Even with the alleged "shrinkage"?

Stupid thought, but it's funny to think about. I've come to get to know several of the posters on the forum from shooting at different clubs. Many of these guys have distinctive voices. Whenever I read a post from any number of these guys, I hear their voice in my head as if they're speaking it. Does this make sense? Does anyone else do this?

EXACT same thing happened to me. Except it was the RO. Ground was EXTEMELY muddy, completely submerging the mag. All I got was " oh. Sorry kid."

Took some videos on a friends iPhone from the past weekend, He emailed the videos to me and they are in a .mov format. However when I play them in Quicktime (the suggested program) the video will play, but no audio can be heard. Any suggestions?

I've read Schuemann's theory before. Can anyone verify that he IS talking about jacketed bullets? I agree that lead or even moly bullets will start to cause undersizing of the barrel.

Sounds to me like this is the problem as well. Well I am certainly embarrassed.

Whenever I turn the indexing star on my 550, it tightens the bolt holding the star and the shellplate down, so that after making for "indexes" the bolt tightens to the point where I have to keep an allen wrench nearby to loosen it again. I performed a search and found nothing. Any ideas to fix this?

IMO, to be fair to all , the ammo should be left under a table or in the shade. A.T. How does the chrono process work at major matches? Do you hand in your ammo to be chrono'd (all the ammo you brought?) and the chrono officer shoots it through their gun?

How many people attended last year? I'm a broke college student, but I'd be willing to sleep in my car that Saturday night if it meant I could shoot another relatively big match this year.
