It all has to do with personal preference. I think you can reach World Shoot winning performance with any handgun that doesn't have major flaws. I would say: if you like the SIGs, buy one or use the one you have. If practicing with a SIG makes you happy, you'll practice more with yours.

I use sand mixed with paint. The skateboard tape kept moving around. It helps a great deal. Especially combined with stuff like ProGrip. It increased control significantly.

AFAIK it's designed just as the regular 686 .38/.357. No moonclips You'll have to use speedloaders. You might want to try the 686 .38 super. Desiged for moons + short cases = lightning fast reload (is that possible with a revolver? )

Problem is that most of the stuff they show is great. It's maybe 5% that has a very high "eeewww-factor". But the gross stuff is etched on my retina forever

I notice I pull my shots low too when I haven't been shooting my revolvers for a while. Same as you describe, but usually only on "easy" targets, because I don't follow through enough. And it goes away when I tell myself to see the sights all the way up and down again (have a continuous sight picture).

She swells up (up to the point where the skin almost becomes transparant) and gives birth to about 25 little ones. That really gave me the willies - Saw another documentairy about Surinam toads (Pipa pipa) (yes, I really like wildlife documentairies ) After mating the female toad will carry the eggs IN her back (yes under the skin) I'll quote some stuff I found on the net: "Amplexus takes place over a period of days (the exact period varies). Afterwards the eggs sink gradually into the female's back, and the skin pad solidifies to a kind of stiff crust with "windows" over the eggs. The developed froglets are visible inside their pockets for several days before hatching. They emerge over a period of days, thrusting their head and forelegs out first, then struggling free."
