  1. Wasn't this case in the beginning of Magnolia?
  2. LOL, good post Rhino. I had the same thing happen to me last match. Rehearsed it endlessly, and screwed up after the beep. I think it has to do with the way we rehearse. You can SAY: popper, popper, paper etc. etc. But it's probably better to SEE: Popper, popper, paper etc. Just make a little movie in your head of how it will look after the beep. Make the movie positive. See your sights appear on the targets and see them lift off the target. Stuff like that is much stronger than just repeating words.
  3. If you remove all criminals from the NBA, you'll have 3 teams left
  4. They'll last forever. And if they don't, you'll get new ones for free.
  5. Nice going Sam! I've never met Rudy, but I met one of his good Austrian friends a couple of times. It seems these Austrian lads are pretty multitalented. This guy was Austrian National Champ in Standard/Limited and Revolver.
  6. I like the idea of your initial post Ron. Too bad some people already feel violated if you ask them a question.
  7. That makes sense. It's the only thing I could think of to not switch actually
  8. Ah yes, the political correctness. Well, I don't think Max, Travis or TGO would care less about that. They would just like to win the World Shoot. I believe the question here is: Would you like to help those who attend the WS by using the WS-targets in the Nationals? It has very little to do with PC-ness really.
  9. I think it's a shame we're not allowed to use Metric targets anymore in The Netherlands. But, I DO think that shooting classics for practice will help. Everytime I shoot at a metric target (yes, we still have some left) in practice, I feel like I'm shooting at a barn door Practicing metric only will certainly be a disadvantage if you're going to the World Shoot. But hey, I'm not going to tell you which target to use in your matches. Have fun either way
  10. Thanks Randy! Please let me know. I am really curious.
  11. Randy Lee, very cool! Do you sell those parts? Or do you only use them when YOU do the work on a gun?

Tightloop, LOL, I swear it's a Swedish car It's a Koenigsegg. Some kind of Souped up Volvo

That new mustang looks really nice. 300 hp isn't that bad. It's just a car. If you want a real piece of engineering brilliance, you have to buy a Swedish car: This is the fastest streetcar in the world. 806 HP and 0-62mph in 3.2s. Topspeed is 242+mph. I believe it does the quarter mile in 9 flat or below
  14. I'm with the guys here. DIY is the way to go.
  15. Strong is a relative concept. I think mas means tense?
  16. Interesting question Julien. I've always wondered about that. I always figured that if your gun was too big to fit the smallest box (-1mm), you would just be lucky if your gun was measured in a larger one.
  17. mas, please tell us what you experienced. What did you do differently this time?

    I love this bar

LOL, she has a cute butt. Just ask the right questions
  19. Yeah, I have the springs in my gun. I know about Jerry's heavy rebound spring. I just thought he might have cut back on the power of those a bit. I'd preferably want a rebound spring that's about 1% faster than I can pull the trigger
  20. Are you referring to Mainspring or rebound spring?
  21. Ray, I have no specific source. I just remember stuff like that when I hear it, really.
  22. Your salad was fresach allright....Fresh 'n crispy.

    Thanks

    BTW, witless comments??
  24. They did. They made the G34 and G35 to fit the box of both IDPA and IPSC. Plus they added some extended control levers and buttons. Unfortunately, this was before Production Division was created. The guns are not IPSC PD legal. I noticed most main stream gun companies kind of suck when designing "competition guns". Most of the time they just make the gun as big as possible and add all sorts of extended stuff nobody uses It seems like they don't pay attention to the stuff that really matters. They always have some weird flaw, like being a 9x19 standard gun. Or a .40S&W with only 14 round capacity. I must say that I've noticed a positive change lately, with the appearance of the Para LDA, Tanfoglio Stock, etc..

I think 8,5 is about as low as you can go. Keep in mind that the super tuned 6lb. guns will only work with Federal primers. You have to ignite a rimfire cartridge. By the way, my match gun also has a pull of about 8 lb.
