  1. How about: You go there, hook up with a bunch of Enosverse members, shoot a great match and have a great time
  2. I think Saul's book is a great attempt of bringing a complete IPSC technical guide in a compact format. Technically speaking, IPSC is a simple sport, and Saul's book showed me that. Great drills. By the time you master all of them, you'll be a pretty good shooter I think that Brian's book and Saul's book is a combination that is hard to beat. I have seen Steve's book. It looked great. I didn't buy it because, well, I already dry-fire a whole lot, and I don't want to raise the staus of dry-fire to a realm of it's own. Dry-fire is there to support my live fire. If I would get involved in the matter of dry-fire even more, it would be like I'm shooting two different sports. IPSC and dry-fire But that is personal. I'm kind of obsessive like that I guess

    Morning Cuddle

I don't know what's funnier, the joke or the replies
  4. I love par times. Instead of practicing just getting faster all the time, with the par time you can practice being relaxed all the time. The time is fixed, so to learn something, you'll have to experiment with different feelings. See how relaxed and consistent you can get while still beating the par.
  5. Can I join USPSA just before we leave and be on the team? Seriously, I would also drop this at the Global Village. There are some US guys shooting wheelguns there.
  6. A G22 will do fine in all divisions except revolver. A G35 will not shoot Production. G35 is easier to make major PF with (slightly longer barrel) I'd probably pick the one that looked prettiest to me, because there are no major differences. Slick up the trigger on each of 'em and they will get you anywhere you want
  7. I hate the fact that winning one big match changed my attitude about EVERYTHING concerning shooting negatively! I shoot like shit. I'm too slow. I throw mikes. Shooting slow will not guarantee that your accuracy is better. 113 days to the World Shoot. Note to self: Get you act together a_-hole!
  8. I use Frontier bullets (.45 ACP 230 grain RN). They're accurate and cheap. Plus they are completely copper plated, meaning no lead in the air. I love them.
  9. Or... even better. Join the S&W forums and ask for pics. The guys over there are very helpful and will gladly post new pics just for you
  10. HTR, try the Smith & Wesson forums (from the top of my head www.smith-wessonforums.com) There are sooo many pics like the ones you want (comparing K-Frames for instance) in those threads over there. Pick the 1945-now forum to search. Good luck!
  11. I try to see as much as possible. Basically what I "need" to see is: 1) The clip 2) My hand on the clip 3) The chargeholes I just tried it and actually the first thing I do once I called the last shot is move my eyes to the new clip while I unload the cylinder

    Fbi Test

I'm lauging because of TL's comment. I hear you TL!
  13. I love the Incredibles. Great movie. Pixar makes some amazing stuff. Pierruiggi, great movies! All the ones you listed!
  14. OK, I thought you meant for speedy reloads. For non-speedy reload games, I'd say Colt revolvers could do very well. I would not hesitate to use one. The only downside is that those games are usually very accuracy oriented. I don't know how many gunsmiths can turn a Colt into a gun with Bianchi accuracy (if it doesn't have that accuracy already)
  15. Congratulations Jake! How does it feel?! <---Something like this?
  16. For me the big downside of a Colt revolver is the way it opens and closes the cylinder. Nothing wrong with the trigger IMO (but I'm a sloth on the trigger anyways)
  17. Same as Bill here. The difference is bigger with revolvers I think, because we don't get a delayed recoil, like autoloaders do.... It's one jolt, instantly.
  18. LOL, yeah, sorry, I should have warned you. It hurts a bit in the beginning, but you can dull the tape a bit by sanding it just a tad. I got some marks on my left index finger as well. The cool thing about the tape is that you can really grip with that finger, but it's not in the way.
  19. Rockclimbg, I have the same problem (large hands). Skateboard tape under the trigger guard helped me. Just try it and you will see why
  20. LOL, so you mean you shot that Texas star the way you're supposed to?
  21. I think the gun is meant for steel shooting, which require no reloads. Seems like a nice setup.
  22. Huh... whaddaya know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanoacrylate Yeah, when I heard that I was in the same situation as you are now. I had just switched from a smooth narrow trigger to a serrated wide one and my trigger finger hurt like hell after a day. So, I just glued it . Worked like a charm
