  1. Well, Ricardo zeroed 2 stages at the Europeans last year too. He didn't break his gun there, but he was shooting with factory ammo and had some ignition problems. I'm getting real curious about the World Shoot. I feel this whole revolver thing is finally starting to grow
  2. Hey Sam! I see Ricardo Lopez was at the Florida Open as well. He's one fast shooter. Too bad he isn't as consistent or he would do even better. And about those Nationals, don't worry, I'll cross the ocean some time in the next couple of years I love shooting those cool USPSA targets
  3. Well, if I was a US citizen and we had the laws you guys have over there, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I can own only 5 firearms, so there's no place for "safe queens" Ah well, maybe I'll just buy it and shoot the crap out of it anyways
  4. Airedale, thanks! I know someone who wants to sell his 25-2 for only $400 and it is in mint condition. I love how it looks, but I doubt I could use it for IPSC. It's just so pretty
  5. WOW! Beautiful picture of the 25-2. Can anyone tell me their experience of the difference in recoil between a 25 and a 625? Sorry for the slight thread drift

    Stingerjg Links

You can still do some of that stuff with a wheelchair
  7. Phil, did you check the official WS site? There's a "hotel rates" link in the left menu bar. It says the Hilton will cost $90 during the WS for shooters. I'd try to contact the Hilton and ask them directly (referring to the WS site). Do you HAVE to stay in the Hilton? Lots of people will stay in the Sheraton for $70 a night. Sounds good enough for me

    being me....

Yes, that seems to work. Treat yourself to something nice. Tough times don't last, tough people do. Treat yourself, and stick with it. You can do it!
  9. ...and Happy Birthday to my sponsor! seriously, happy birthday Merlin!!!
  10. 0.16 is nothing! You can do it Jake!
  11. Bob, welcome to the forums! Since you're a big Vihta fan, and you want to shoot plated bullets, I'll just give you my own recipe: 230 grain plated Frontier RN (the US equivalent would be Rainier) 4.7 grains of Viht N320 (I currently use 5.2 to make major, but 4.7 is great for starting out) Federal LP 150 primers OAL 1.250" Vith N320 with a heavy 230 grain bullet will give you a nice soft shooting load that packs a punch. Recoil is more of a big push, than a "snap". The combination is capable of major Power factor and will still be soft shooting. Good luck.
  12. Spook, well Said! Just make a point not to tell yourself what NOT to do! When walking into the box, tell yourself what you WANT to do! Always zhunter. Always
  13. In these realms, I think we tend to find how limited words are How about: see in your head what you want to do, and then just do it
  14. GK, I'm very sorry to hear that....
  15. Hi Peter, I have the same problem. Everything is too small for my rediculously large hands I created my own grip the way Saul Kirsch does (with epoxy). Not pretty, but very effective. But if you want a grip you can show to your friends without them lauging at you, I suggest the Pachmayr rubber grips. They're bigger and longer from front strap to back strap than others.
  16. LOL, Jason, that's exactly what I thought. As a matter...this whole thread cracked me up just browsing through it and not thinking about guns Holes in the back and "forbidden zones"
  17. Can't believe I missed this thread. Nice posts on the spaghetti westerns Duane! My personal favourites have to be TGTBATU and FAFDM, but that's probably because I think Clint is the man... LOL, sry I drifted this thing back to westerns again

    Censorship

    Amen to this whole thread!
  19. Focus on hitting the plate instead of beating the time
  20. CzechM8, I was thinking the same thing. I think Adam should be almost on par with David (though I'd bet my $$ on Dave)
