  1. Exactly. At longer / shorter distances it may make a bullet hit a bit left or right, but we aren't shooting Bullseye competitions. The vertical offset can mean several inches shift in POA / POI between 1 yard and 25 yards.
  2. Try this https://www.traditionsfirearms.com/category/Build-it-Yourself-Kits
  3. Or go with a TSO, which already has a thumb rest.
  4. I should have mentioned that my load is with a 115 MG JHP.
  5. With the barrel having popple's, N105 may be too slow. 10.5 of N105 makes 170 in my Trubor with no popples, but chronoed in another gun with popples, it only made 162. 10.5 almost spills out of the case.
  6. This. Also, chasing a strict 125 power factor is not a good idea. Give yourself a bit of buffer...130-135 feels no different than 125.

    CZ TSO Holster

So, I have a brand new TSO coming tomorrow...what is everyone using for a holster in Limited?
  8. Slideglide is very good option. Sold by Brian in his store.
  9. And, technically, a Springfield XDM...it has a grip safety that must be depressed to be fired.
  10. On some DA/SA guns (Shadow 1, for example) the safety cannot be engaged with the hammer down.
  11. One of the local clubs I shoot at only has 1 bay (very small club). We setup a stage, break up into 2 squads, everybody shoots the stage, then we modify the stage. Typically, we set it up with the hardest stage 1st (the stage with the most walls, props, etc.) then remove pieces of the 1st stage for the 2nd stage, and then remove pieces of the 2nd stage for the 3rd, etc. So, when we get done, there is very little left to tear down.
  12. The P09 and Sp01 take different mags. P09 mags are wider than Sp01 mags. Per Stuart at CZ custom, the SP01 mags might work in the P09, but they may also fall out. I have a P07 and an SP01, and I can verify that the SP01 mag will rattle around in the P07. It doesn't feel like they seat all the way either. P09 and P07 take the same mags, essentially. You can use p09 mags in a Pp7, but not P07 in a P09...not long enough.
  13. Isn't the SP01 a small frame? The P09 has bigger mags, so more capacity.
  14. Well, there you go. Now, go see if they go bang and hit what you want them to hit.

    TSO

Clean everything. Totally degrease and then re-oil.
  16. The biggest question is, do those at 1.171 still fit in the mags and chamber in the gun? If so, rock on, no changes necessary.
  17. I can hook you up to 52 volts DC with 2900 amps, if you'd like to try it. I've tried a couple of hundred times, it will get your attention, but it never made me shoot faster.
  18. As do I (on my 870), I have re-finished a shotty with Duracoat and it came out fantastic. It wasn't my gun, and it doesn't get used, so I have no idea about how long it would hold up. Think I paid $20 for the Duracoat kit.
  19. Correct. And, even 9mm+p+ is the same case.
  20. There is no difference in 9mm and 9mm+P brass, other than the +P stamp on the head stamp. It is the same brass dimensionally. Pressure is pressure, what you are talking about is volume. Having 35,000 psi in a 25 gallon tank is the same as having 35,000 psi in a 50 gallon tank. It is still 35,000 psi.
  21. The max pressure of a 9mm+P is 38,500...the max pressure for a 38 super +P is 36,500. Where are you getting your information that 9mm case walls are not as strong as 38 super? Cross sections of cases do not prove your theory.
  22. Duracoat, Cerakoat, or silicone spray and wipe down often.
  23. Jack, weren't you around for the Toepperwiens'? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Topperwein
