  1. This sounds much easier than just enforcing the rules we operated under before. just get rid of the rule book and ad-lib it all!!
  2. Just because they said so don't make it right... follow the rule book.
  3. There is always someone that wants to change something. The problem with this is they will always find someone to agree with them. I can't wine the way it is so lets change things
  4. So OK it's 6 a 1 and 1/2 dozen of the other.. Now its perfectly clear??
  5. I don't really know much, and more people tell me that every day. That being said. I want my triggers around 6-7 lbs. and glass smooth. I find if they are too light I don't get enough information about the trigger when i'm shooting..
  6. anymore load data for Short Colt. Thanks revoman-no VV N320. Any other suggestions?
  7. OK i bought a NIB PC 627. Since that guy in IOWA is not doing any real work anymore, (something about wanting to be a crook or something with the law) who can i send it off to to get worked over?
  8. As i read this I had to start laughing. any good stage designer I know will eat these up!! careful what U ask for1
  9. we aint shooting IPSC its USPSA. YOU want to go shoot ISPC then shoot ISPC. People stop trying to change the rules to fit U. Thats how we got IDPA. Production is 10 rds. It levels the field! it was intended as a starting point for USPSA where a shooter wouldn't have to spend a couple grand to get into it.
  10. This is a big head game. U need to learn to shut it off. If not you are already thinking about what you don't need to.
  11. OK we need another REVO match!! Would U come to Minnesota for a match in Sept.?
  12. The gun was NOT ready to fire...it fired... it has to be ready to fire in order to fire!!!
  13. 8.3.1.1 would make that difficult, but I guess they could still throw spare mags at the openings. If a competitor absolutely insisted on trying to be a DRL (by shooting out the ports) the RM could Declare a forbidden action. I'm not sure I know of a rule that would support a DQ (I don't see anything in the rulebook about "wilfull destruction of range property.") Where is your thought pattern. No U can't knock down the ports before the start signal. The staged has to be the same for everyone at the start. The RO is they are up to speed will not start the shooter until the stage is reset. If you shoot them down before you get to them that's an AD. You can't engage targets if you can't see them, You can't shoot at walls and props. OK shoot me now.
  14. This problem can easily go away with much better stage design.
  15. . Sounds ;like real poor stage design to begin with.. If they had enough time before the match to include in the WSB the FA, they had enough time to correct the problem
  16. Guy at work asked what they went into? Said they were head stamped 45ACP. Then he said maybe not! So that's all I know about it. Someone here will know! Thanks
  17. I have only ONE nephew and some how he already picked that weekend last December to get married. I tried to have the future bride change the date, NO WAY. Hopefully see you next year!
  18. I don't want to mess up your concentration!!
  19. I've used that method for a long time, it's nice to know who I can give credit. I like this method. I hate wasting some of my best shots on practice.
  20. Yes I do. However, I will need to start load development for this. 200 Gr BBI, Delta Precision Etc. over 5.6 Gr. Solo 1000. Not having a sponsor to speak for (because I suck. I bought a sponsor shirt once they called me after they saw me shooting at a match and wanted there shirt back) I like the profile that BBI uses. For me it loads better.
  21. This is not a legal USPSA stage. They can hand out any penalty they wish. The full procedure is Upon start signal, turn, then draw and engage T1- T4 with two rounds each, perform a mandatory reload and re-engage T1-T4 with two rounds each WEAK hand. This procedure is used in many classifiers but it always says WEAK HAND ONLY. If the WSB does not stipulate weak hand ONLY can the shots be taken supported? So at the beep U pull out your paper and pencil and start drawing what you see. Why not? That's what the WSB says. Some wear common sense has to take over.. And there's another problem, some people have the common sense of a trash can!!
