  1. I use military brass all the time. Same process of prepping the brass and cleaning it. As long as it doesn't have a shelf in the middle of the case. Everything else is a go for me.
  2. I shoot range brass as long as it's roll sized or sized through a push through die.
  3. That copper tone looks awesome. My cerakote guns seems to last longer on ARs and long range rifles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    3 Gun Pics!

Nice setup. What are you using for your belt setup?
  5. double up on protection. muffs and plugs.
  6. Did you opt for a standard racker or a SVI Racker?
  7. Adam makes some nice guns!
  8. Have you tried using the 155 mm mags? I've been really enjoying those lately.
  9. at 3.2 grains... seems like a 147gr bullet
  10. Very nice. I just saw your avatar. I may have to copy that picture with my own.
  11. If you're doing some serious volume... Check these guys out. http://sgcbrass.com/product-category/media/ Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auo98kDegLA&t=62s They make a patented Stainless Media Separator / Dryer. I have a smaller unit and it works fast. Brief breakdown.. (Separates stainless, rinses, and drys) All steps make using stainless media so much faster and better.
  12. Who built these? I like the milling.
  13. That's a nice looking shooter. How do you like the romeo?
  14. Do you know if this is safe for red dots? Or does it create unwanted glare?
  15. I don't think it has been said yet. Also, when people are trying to load just at PF this can cause more smoking as well. Some powders smoke a lot less when loaded hot..
  16. I have two Mark 7's, been looking at an ammobot for initial caseprep. I think you've just sold me on that.
  17. I found that utilizing the EGW U Die didn't fix all of the glock bulge issues. There were still many of cases over the course of loading 1k that still didn't gauge properly due to extreme glock bulge. Also, found that if you didn't lube your cases prior to running them through resize quite a bit more resistance on the press. I use an automatic rollsizer now. Brought my case related issues down to zero.
  18. Good rain gear is critical. Keeping yourself dry will make your shooting mentality a lot better. Have gear to clean your mags too, as that can cause some serious failures.
  19. Ha, yes. The dribble. Well, hopefully during your test all goes well
  20. Did you have any short ejection problems with your new CK, or was it just the keyhole and short chamber?
  21. How long of a chamber did Matt bring yours to? 1.160 Seems short still for a 124 MG JHP. Have you tried longer with it?
  22. I think all open guns from majority of reputable builders can be reliable. However, unless you load your own ammo and figure out what works specifically with that gun I don't think any of them "new" are ultra reliable, as in don't buy a new one and go to a match with it. Might be hit or miss. CK's are known to be super tight when you get the gun - lots of break in time. Also you have to plunk test your ammo to see if you should ream your chamber, they're known to be short. SVI don't make 9 major anymore. Same thing though, needs break in - ammo trial. My friends Tru-bore- had a spring binding issue, as well as he changed over to a 90 degree optic mount to aid in proper ejection. My current gun is an Atlas Chaos - I had a spring issue when I received mine, and had to increase spring weight, now it's awesome.
  23. I have a pocket pro, used the pact as well as the smaller CED units. I prefer the ease of use on the pocket pro. Although I have noticed that mine is slightly more muted than some of the others.
