1. We've had a Select Comfort "Sleep #" for about 5 months and we love it. I sleep a lot better than I have since having back surgery in 2000. I'm a 35.
2. Hey Eric, It has a lot to do with your mood and attitude going into it. Stay positive. Jeff deGracia showed up last Sat at St. Aug. talking about how good things were going and the great things that were happening with his job. He stated that he felt great and was going to have a good match. Below are the results. Oh yeah, deGracia "NEVER" practices. just food for thought.
DECEMBER 2006
Match Overall Results Place Competitor USPSA Class Division PF Cat Match Pts 1 WILDS, DAVID A30555 M Open Major 643.3337 2 DEGRACIA, JEFF A56592 M Lim Minor 635.5349 3 LAMBERT, RAYMOND L1425 M Open Major Sen 608.9818 4 Weber, Larry TY22427 A Open Major 598.3364 5 Sullins, Dave A48800 B Open Major 568.6230 6 Dickerson, Kenny TY44332 B L10 Major 566.0264 7 KIRBY*, KEN TY37747 A Lim Major 555.0090 8 COOK, DANIEL A43119 B Lim Major 518.6677 9 FESSLER, JIM FY29424 B Open Major Sup 513.1411 10 BRUCAT, PJ A49501 B Lim Major 505.1059 11 HEATHERLY, ROGER A49127 B Lim Major 497.7920 12 SKEAN, BRUCE TY56683 C Pro Minor 480.7811 13 Kocs, A Rob TY41975 A Pro Minor 480.6718 14 DEGUIRE, MIKE TY31727 B Open Major Sup 475.9598 15 Tice, Jim A7739 A L10 Major Sen 450.3095 16 HOSEY, RICHARD TY41486 C Lim Major 448.5983 17 HAMMOND*, MAC TY42104 A Pro Minor Sen 444.1719 18 HARGETT, TOBY A39389 A Open Major 439.1419 19 LOVELACE, FRED TY39978 B Lim Major Sen 434.8226 20 WILKERSON, GENE A55594 C Pro Minor 431.1686 21 Breckenridge*, Steven L2500 U L10 Major 423.0658 22 GORDON, JAMES A57626 C Pro Minor 412.2923 23 FARRULLA, MARIO TY41739 B Open Major 409.9647 24 REDMOND, TOM A42300 B Lim Major 409.7113 25 DIX, JOEL A21794 B Lim Minor 401.3825 26 CHRISTIAN, CHRIS A55647 U Pro Minor 378.0349 27 COLON JR, NELSON A50069 C Lim Major Jr 375.2017 28 WILLIAMS, DAVID A21833 B Lim Major 350.3578 29 COLON, NELSON TY32791 B Rev Major 348.1017 30 MAUCK, CLARENCE U L10 Major 332.6368 31 Dufel, Frederick A54024 C Pro Minor Sen 328.9962 32 STRAYER, JOHN A57786 U Rev Major 327.9603 33 STANCHICK, STEVE A57081 D L10 Major 319.3180 34 COLON, FRANCISCO A50068 C Lim Major Jr 318.3333 35 HINES, KELSEY L2748 U Pro Minor 315.6656 36 WIRES, ROY U L10 Major Sen 304.3234 37 HEAGY, MIKE A49368 U L10 Minor 303.4432 38 PESA, VLADI A57151 C Lim Major 296.9562 39 MARTIN, NATHAN U Lim Minor 291.3992 40 BIERMIAN, GORDON TY40327 C Open Major Sup 266.9444 41 Johnson, Robert TY46319 D L10 Major Sen 265.9651 42 DEYO, CURTIS U Lim Major 260.0590 43 CYR, CHRISTOPHER A57128 D Lim Minor 249.5524 44 DIAZ, FRANK A46272 D Pro Minor 230.5975 45 DILLINGER, LARRY A48650 D L10 Major 223.6686 46 PAUL, KEN A56449 U Pro Minor 198.4503 47 STRAYER, TERRI U Pro Minor Fm 196.9771 48 EIDSMORE, CHRIS A57472 U Pro Minor 191.9225 49 HARST, BRIAN U Pro Minor 151.6004 50 WARE, FRITZ U Rev Major Sen 137.2576 51 KERR, MARK U Rev Minor 133.9717 52 DIAZ, CHRISTA Pen U Pro Minor Fm 133.5663 53 ELSON, JAMES U Pro Minor 130.6816 54 WHITE, JONAS U Pro Minor 122.3979 55 STONE*, KENNETH A4349 B Open Major Sup 114.9127 56 REID, CHASE U Lim Minor Jr 101.8028 57 POWERS, JIM U Pro Minor 86.3982 58 BOOTHE, OVA U Lim Minor 46.2282 59 KLOEPPEL, CHRIS TY48360 C Lim Major Sen 0.0000 60 MCLENDON, TIMOTHY L2843 U Lim Minor 0.0000
3. I just pray that he doesn't have a CCW.
4. I was trying the "help him out" approach. I don't give a crap about him if he's that dangerous. Ban him and inform everyone who he is so that no one will shoot with him. It's worth it if it keeps his endangering ass away from others.
5. At the next match single him out. Get at least 3 seasoned R.O. certified shooters to "Gang up" on him and go over the safety briefing in excruciating detail and then squad him with them and inform him that it is training day. Whoever is R.O.ing him will verbally instruct him to watch his muzzle, 180, finger etc. etc. at least 5 times during each stage while he is shooting. Go over this plan with him and if he doesn't agree to do it then ban his ass. I'm in if you want my help.
6. Minimum wage got me. Maybe they should ask where in the Constitution does it place charge for the Federal Government to set a minimum wage.
7. I have pics. They're big. They guy that took them was standing next to us watching it. We gave him our e-mail and he sent them to us.
8. Yeah, I did it with mine as soon as I got home and it barely moves the pencil 3" but my STI's, 1911's and XD shoot it to the ceiling. I think you're right with the heavier striker spring.
9. I want my Boys to have a great Christmas. I already have everything I need; - My Salvation - My health - My Family - My friends - My job I also got my Christmas present a little early. A new 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
10. I watched it from Tittusville about 5 miles across the ocean where we could see all the way from the launch pad to space. It is a spectacular sight. The final night launch for this shuttle program.
11. I had a couple of light hits with factory ammo in my 9mm and did some really intense investigating. I found that my striker was dragging on the safety plunger at the bottom & top of the firing groove in the plunger. I high polished the entire striker and radiused the bottom & top edges at the firing groove on the safety plunger. I now have about 1500 rounds through the gun without a hickup. Take your striker out and look at it. If it is dragging the plunger it will be really obvious as you'll see rub lines along the striker shaft. I've attached a picture of the safety plunger with arrows pointing to the locations I radiused (borrowed the pic from you Dan. Thanks) in order to stop the dragging.
12. My first gun was a Stevens .22 single shot bolt at 7 y.o. First handgun was a Remington Rand 1911A1 made in 1942 given to me at 11 y.o. (It was stolen out of my car in 1991). I just gave my youngest son a Walther P22 for his 6th B-Day. I gave My oldest son a 10-22 for his 9th B-Day (He'll be 16 in March).
13. Who's giving how much to who to wear a strap-on and flip-flops to the nationals and win their class???????? I wonder if it would make it onto "Shooting USA"?
14. Only because my bullets were smoking more than normal.
15. I hope that everyone else that I shoot against watches that video and starts wearing flip-flops to shoot in.
16. Why does "Good stage design" mean that no shooter in any division (Revolver doesn't count because it's obvious that they LOVE to reload) ever has to reload unless they are moving between two 9 round neutral arrays? Why do production and Lim 10 shooters have to have course design rules structured around those two divisions? Like it or not production does shoot against production, limited against limited etc. etc. If we are going to make sure that "Good course design" means no static reloads then get them the hell out of classifiers because, as it is, most classifiers aren't even close to most real match stages. I agree with thinning the rule book and we can start by getting rid of the 9 round neutral rule. It stifles creativity.
17. CHOMP-CHOMP-CHOMP!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOO GATORS!!!!! We are the sloppiest winners in the SEC.
18. I reserve the right to remain silent........... Yeah, Thanks Mods, Admins and BE.
19. The scarier part is that there are some people out there who want to give him the right to vote!!!!!
20. Wow......ice water.....maybe we should try poking each other in the eye at LAMR... at least soaking your hands is better than dropping a few cubes down your pants at LAMR...hmmmm..that may speed me up AHHHH! Another Idea! You guys gotta stop before you get me killed by my shooting buddies. OH, Who would drop the ice down the shooters pants? NOT ME!!
21. WARNING: Thinking outside the box could be punishable be severe flaming. I think I may set something up this weekend. Maybe some little 8 round deal with a couple of plates out about 20 yards requiring supported weak hand. Thanks for the idea TL.
22. A Beretta... shooter can set their double action "First shot" at 3 lbs. and then set their following single action shots at any weight below 3 lbs. that they wish lol.. thread drift... tell me how! I went from 12#/8#, to 8#/4#.. and thought I was doing well... I don't have the faintest idea. I'm not a Beretta guy but this guy may be able to tell you.
23. This rule completely and absolutely penalizes striker fired guns. A Berretta, CZ, Ruger, etc. shooter can set their double action "First shot" at 3 lbs. and then set their following single action shots at any weight below 3 lbs. that they wish. Since the rule only applies to the first shot fired this takes the advantage away from striker fired guns which have a consistant pull every time and gives the advantage to hammer fired guns which will only have to deal with a 3 lb. first pull. It's amaizing how "Unfair" it is to you untill you have the advantage through the rule. If I shot a hammer fired D.A. gun I'ld want the 3 lb. rule too. My M&P trigger is set at exactly 3.5 lbs and I like it that way but I still think the rule is B.S.
