  1. Is that disturbing to anyone else? Yes it is. Greatly disturbing.
  2. I don't take for granted what the enemies of my freedoms are aware of or not and I would never assume that they do not now our sporting rules intimately. Never underestimate the intelligence of the enemy. They won in "94" because we were complacent and underested them. I won't make that mistake. I'm getting close to the boundries of the forum rules on politics so I'm done with this line of discussion in the open forum. Please feel free to P.M. me with any further debate on this matter. I agree with a magazine limitation to keep several types of guns equal on the playing field just like USPSA Production division does but I don't see aproblem with a seperate division for max mag capacity. If you want to shoot your Sig 228 the don't shoot that division.
  3. This will be a must see for me since the games are my all time favorites.
  4. And as long as we keep limiting ourselves to a specific capacity they can say "See they even agree that they don't need more than 10 rounds in a magazine." We are our own worse enemy.
  5. I'm sure that there are a few that carry with a Doctor sight and a few that carry a Wilson Comp and a few that carry Wide bodies with magwells but they are exceptions to the basic defense gun and not the norm when taken into consideration among all defensive carriers. I don't now anyone who "Down loads" their mags for defensive carry and if they do then 'they' are the exception to the norm. A Glock 17 loaded with 19 rounds has to be a very high % among defensive carriers. If they aren't going to allow people to shoot what they normally carry for Defensive situations then I don't believe it should be called "International Defensive Pistol Association" No more than it should be called this if they let people shoot Open guns. I'm not knocking/bashing the sport. It gets people out shooting and I have fun when I shoot it. I'm just trying to present a logical point for the opening post.
  6. I believe it would add a little bit of realism to the stage since it's supposed to be "Defense of Life" situational stages. I carry an M&P compact with 13 rounds or a full size with 19 rounds (All my 17 round mags hold 18). I never "Down load" my mags for defensive carry so why would I want to "Down load" them to practice defensive use?
  7. More exercise keeps the weight off the body and the mind off the tobbaco.
  8. After 24 years of Cope, I have to agree 100%. I quit cold. Chewed sunflower seeds for about a week and that was it. I craved for about a month after stopping but haven't craved since. I feel like on an AA forum. "Hello, I'm Daniel and I'm a nicoholic".
  9. Yep! I quit. Cold turkey. I was motivated. My wife was pregnant with my son and the thought of him doing it scared the hell out of me. 18 years and I finished my last can and said thats it. I climbed the walls but thats what I did. And I still want one about everyday. I'm in the exact same spot. I quit a week before my youngest Son was born. I'm going into my 7th year. Congrats.
  10. I use a silencer so that I don't interupt the other shooters during their walkthrough. "Thwat, Thwat"

I hate it when people "Game" the rules of this forum because they can't hold their water. There is a P.M. feature here. CLOSED
  12. Dave Long with Precision doesn't recommend it. Call him at 903-498-8451
  13. That's every IDPA stage I've ever shot!!!!!! That's why I'll stick to IPSC. Nice one.
  14. His state of mind would be Id. I edited my previous post.
  15. I'm pretty sure that the boy is Id-ridden at this point and has nothing going through his "Mind". I don't have the faintest idea how this would transfer into my shooting. I don't shoot IPSC to survive but I will/have shot to survive. It's difficult for me to use survival instinct in IPSC training because I have been in "Need to survive" situations and they don't really intermingle. The training to bring on the instinctive memory response could be similar but that's about it. If a person could become purely Id-ridden while shooting they would probably be absolutely unstoppable but they wouldn't be able to dress down a stage because the Id is separate from the conscious mind and it does not draw memory from the conscious mind it only survives no matter what it takes. It's uncontrollable.
  16. I think it is the other way around. What do you mean XD, I'm normally smilling....I have the best job in the world....the pay sucks, but the job is great. I took that he meant that 9 year olds teach you all day.
  17. The whole incident is discusting. When we accept things like this we allow the Government to use force to silence us. Whether or not 'you' agree with the guy, he was not harming anyone else through force or fraud and was exercising his freedom of speech against a political figure. Staged/planned or not. Since when does a badge give someone the right to put their hands on someone else just for speaking? We allow the Government to take away too many freedoms so that we can have security from being offended. We have given them the power to "ENFORCE" their power upon us. No previous post here changes any of this and I've read them all. I do not have to follow your orders just because you have a badge if I am not breaking the law, and all rules are not laws. This makes me sick for the future America that My children will live in.
  18. 9 classifiers over 75% and I'm stiil B limited. I do have 156 Limited classifiers on record though. I'll hang in Production for a while. B has been great but I'm ready to try A for a while.
  19. Company was there (about 12 people watching the Florida vs. Tenn. game) on my 142" screen. I was in my recliner with my laptop.
