I have and recommend the 47" 3220 Storm case with Mobile Armory soft side and have and recommend the 20" JP CTR-02. I got the longer case so I could use this in 3-Gun or when I go hunting out West.
You don't need a 47" case if you're not going to put hunting or bench rest rifles in it like I do.
Side note, I ordered my CTR-02 last summer as it appeared an administration change was about to happen and my gun took 6 weeks, but you will be very happy when you get your guns!
I read the American Rifleman article on primers and realized that what I suspected to be true, which made me mad. While I was fortunate enough to have purchased 20K of WSP primers prior to November 4th I just broke into my last case. I've had 15K of WSP on order from Cabella's since January and have yet to see my package.
I am starting to see primers at my local shooting range and they are selling at "regular" prices.
Hits: SV Limited Gun, Dillon 650, Redding G-Rx sizing Die, Rx Shooting glasses
Misses: ACOG (good, just not for 3-Gun distances we shoot in the midwest), Pro Ear Dimension Muffs (good, just too big for running around doing IPSC or 3-Gun)
My carry gun is a G27 for the following reasons:
- Very acurate out to 15 yards
- Managable recoil (I shoot .40 cal regularly) with mag or finger extension
- Tons of brass available to shoot (do recommend you shoot it if you carry it!)
- Very concealable with IWB holster (I use a Crossbreed holster - very nice)
Hope this helps
Blue One,
Not good! Will you be back to full throttle before the Ohio Sectionals and IPSC Nationals?
I guess I will shoot Production this weekend as I'll only need to contend with Dan and Adrian, that is if Chris and Bill aren't really shooting Production
I have and shoot both and have the following experiences:
- The 24 is definitely more accurate at the 25 yd. and longer distances
- The 35 is easier to handle in transitions
- Accessories for the 35 (holsters etc) are easier to come by than the 24
- From a preference standpoint I like the 24 because of the long sight radius
All that being said I shoot an SV in Limited and shoot the Glocks in the Glock only matches.
Hope this helps!
I fly every other week for work and normally on Delta, but usually only use First Class when I travel abroad because of the cost (I do usually get bumped up to 1st domestically). If money wasn't an issue I would be "flying first class, up in the sky".
