This sounds like a trigger control issue. I'm no expert but, it sounds like she is getting too much finger on the trigger and pulling the follow up shots. Are the shots going straight down to 6 o clock or to 7 or 5 o clock and is she right or left handed?

I had what appears to be the same problem happen to me. What I discovered was the HS6 powder I was using was too dirty causing the failure to battery towards the end of matches. I changed powders (to N320) no more problems. I load my SV out to 1.22 with 180 gr. MTG, no problems.

I don't shoot an M&P (many other S&W's though), but it is nice to see the factory folks taking an interest in our sport.

What's a revolver?

I use the Redding G-Rx sizing die and it works perfectly. It is a push through die that I put on a single stage press I have on my bench. I have never had a case fail my Dillon gauge after sizing and have gone to only gauging before a major match. The rounds don't fail then either, but I just want a double check on everything. Redding G-Rx sizing die strongly recommended!

I live in Cincy and only have Delta as a air carrier. I've only been to a couple of majors, but both times Delta and the TSA have been fine with my checking of guns and ammo. They almost seem scared to look in my cases which is good as I usually have more than 11 pounds of ammo. I have found that 260 rounds of .40 cal weighs 11 pounds, not enough to get me through a match.

We missed the bad stuff here in Blue Ash, OH but had some cool looking clouds and light shows. Never been in a tornado and don't want to be, but we did have one jumped over our house a few years back. I've been in 2 killer storms, Super Typhoon Pamela (no running water for 6 weeks and no electricity for 4 weeks) and Hurricane Camille, we lost our house on that one. I've been working on the table reloads for the IN sectional with not great success unless I slow it down to a reasonable speed. The faster I try to go the uglier the time and more cuts on my hand. I've tried 2 methods of chambering the 1st round, using the barrel and the back of the slide. Less cuts using the barrel.

Guess I could trade the powder to someone if its too dirty for my SC. Chris's idea might be more fun, but the BATF might come looking for me.

I guess it can't hurt to try the HS6 in my SC gun if the powder will make major and fit in the case.
