I'm shootn Open. I shot my Limited gun today and AD (down range) since I'm not use to the trigger any more. Not a good sign - Open it is.

Dang - I was hoping to shoot Open, but if everyone is going Limited I'll have to dust off the SV. Sandman - you can bring donuts, because we are taking my wifey's van.

Huge difference between the stock SP-01 and Shadow. The difference in the price is well worth it and as many have said above, this is "cheap" compared to guns in the other divisions. That is how I would sell it to the wife.

I had tendinitis in my wrist, elbow and shoulder from playing racquetball competitively. I tried all the anti-inflams and ice, but was not able to sleep because of the pain. My Doc told me I had to stop playing which I did and it fixed the problem within a year. I recently had a flare up in my elbow which I fixed by using grip and reverse grip (bands) strengthening exercises with anti-infams. This flare up was caused by maximum dry fire drill.

I have a *thumb rest [generic]* I'm dying to try, if I can only get the C-More screws loose!

Wilson CQB is an exceptional gun in the price range you defined Wolfie. Smooth as glass! In general people don't think about the S&W Performance Center 1911, but it is an incredible gun from an accurancy and bells and whistles standpoint also in your price range. Good luck on your search.

'B' Limited Shooter here seriously working/practicing to move up to 'A' but more importantly to win matches/division consistently. Many people just want to shoot and do okay, I'm guessing that is not the group reading this thread. As for me, why do someting unless you plan to win! Thanks guys for the reinforcement about the hard work on my way to winning more consistently.
