  1. Does it really matter if they are affiliated with USPSA? If they are shooting classifiers they must be thinking they comparing themselves to the rest of us (affiliated) shooters.
  2. Very cool! My daughter is dating Neil Armstrong's grandson. If I ever meet Neil I will have to ask him about the theories.
  3. Bill, bring the 50 cal and some extra rounds, I'll pay you to shoot it. I'm guessing the rounds will make major!
  4. What is that a Kel-tec Open gun?
  5. They aren't helping themselves if they think that is Production, cuz it aint!
  6. During the next update by USPSA, around the 15th of the month, assuming your local club did their thing.
  7. Some of us just like to buy things (it makes us feel good stimulating the economy) which is why I have both
  8. Well, I'm shootn Production so I don't have to worry about my C-More getting wet.
  9. I wonder if you would need Small Rifle primers to burn all the powder?
  10. The slide racker above can be had at Midway or Brownells, I think it is by Gieger. The Gieger I have at home looks like pot metal (cast) and will not likely take to being heated and bent.
  11. I have both and the new belt is a touch stiffer (not good not bad) and it has the added color on the outside, new connection tab and CR name on the internal belt. It is $10 bucks not a big deal.
  12. Let Dillon know and they will send you a new arm (not sure of the real name) for free. The piece (arm) that grabs the disk is bent causing the issue you described.
  13. I would echo the guys advice above and add that it depends on the stage hit factor as to where or not it makes sense to make up a shot or slow down. I'm not an expert in this area, but as a rule of thumb I use make up a shot if the stage has a high hit factor and don't if it is a low hit factor. A lot depends on knowing your limitations, split times, transitions etc.
  14. I would imagine the Chrono instructions have some guidance, but I use 12' for pistol because of the blast from my 38 SC.
  15. Nice looking blaster, but I can only imagine her with her top slide down!
  16. I had the hammer bobbed on my 625 and haven't had any issues and haven't look back.
  17. Welcome to our addiction and Benos!
  18. There are a ton or reasons to buys new, but the one I use is accountability by the builder. Your post questioned the STI to SVI. I have a custom built by Bedell (highly recommended) and one on the way from SV. I don't believe you can go wrong with either gun or a quality, known gunsmith but I'm a big fan of SV from a Customer Service standpoint.
  19. I have the same issue on my 650 and use lube. When I load .45's I hit the funnel mouth with a graphite encased media I purchased from Sinclair. This helps greatly, but needs to be applied every couple hundreds rounds and I need to clean the resulting graphite/lube mess off the funnel every 1,000 rounds, but it works like a charm.
