+1 David. Shoot a 308 and learn to read the wind. I learn something new about the wind everytime I shoot from 800yds to a 1000 with a 308 very humbling.

Well said DT1 ! For a starter caliber I would say 308 or 260. I love me some 260 Rem. very accurate out to a grand and not a barrel burner.

I have been to both types of training in question. As stated above figure out which training you want then go for it ,remember you can not absorb too much knowledge and keep an open mindset.

They pulled that pick it up at the PO for the last time! A friend that is mail man said call them and tell them you want it delivered to your house period. If a delivery is to heavy for a paticular carrier another energetic carrier will deliver the package for them.

Now that looks like that was one fun squad to be on !!

The three times I did not double check my mags before the buzzer. Guess what I had an empty mixed in there needles to say that is why you should carry that extra magazine for situations like these. You bet I triple check now !! I am trying to make it a sub concious check every stage every time !!! I have learned you cannot check your equipment to much.
