  1. Found him (with a scythe) 150 (or was it 180?) miles away?
  2. Difficult one to search for because if you enter range design without quotes, it looks for any post that contains either word. When you click on search, in the entry field, enter the following (including the double quotes!): "range design" Also, try: "range construction"
  3. You've got a lot to be proud of with Blake...and his shooting is only part of it.
  4. I would suggest not waiting too long before getting it fixed. I blew out the disks between C5/C6 and C6/T1 but they didn't catch it when I first went to the hospital. Over the next 9 months the numbness along the outer edge of my right forearmhand got progressively worse until I went back for CTs and MRIs. They eventually fused the three but the numbness and lack of dexterity and strength is still there (been 3.5 years since surgery).
  5. Reminder for those of you who shoot the round guns, this will qualify towards: http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore/SmWes...REVO_LUTION.PDF
  6. How much and what type of ammo do you need to load and what part of SC are you in?
  7. After polishing with the walnut media, try corn cobb media with NuFinish car wax. Actually, I use corn cobb, rice, and NuFinish and do it all in one step. Works very well.
  8. Congratulations! Still looking forward to that accomplishment myself.
  9. John, I understand and agree with your priorities, but I still hope you can make it!
  10. I called Bill Wahl and he said they can be reloaded once but there are several things to be careful about. If you're going to try, call me and I'll give you his number. 803-507-8665. He told me waay more than I could type and about three times as much as I understood. Bill used to travel the circuit shooting trap and skeet and has forgotten more about reloading than I even want to know.
  11. I'm going to have to move this to the "What I like" forum after all of the concern and support! Thanks, Guys!
  12. You know the rules...useless with out pics... Good luck with the re-hab! Nothing really interesting to see, but... http://themxtrack.com/GomerTibeaSmall.jpg (It isn't graphic but just in case some don't want to see it). They put a plate and screws to hold the top of the tibia back together (5 or 6 pieces). I also broke 3 transverse processes off the back of my lower vertebra, but they said there was nothing they could do with those.
  13. Wow! ...and he wrote that 10 years ago! Great reading...thanks (to RVB, too)
  14. Well, at least two months before I can put any weight on my left leg. I'll be on crutches until then. I had been getting back into riding a bit with the kids and my new-to-me bike with an auto-clutch basically died on the face of a jump. Yard-sale down the track with broken Gomer pieces. I hope to be walking by the AMU Junior Camp in November.
  15. Bill did load work up some test loads using from 90 up through 115 gr in .380 using both Titegroup and something else. Not having a .380, I didn't test any, but Dewey did. I'll see if I can get some details from him about the loads and their performance. I can't make the match this weekend nor any matches for a couple months. Doctor's orders are no weight on the left leg for at least 2 months.
  16. http://www.bridleandbit.net/ebooks/bluepre..._files/main.swf Nice article! Do I have to make Master before I can show up to the range in one of those shirts?
  17. http://shootersaugusta.com/Results/Shooters_082009.htm I knew it was coming, but did it have to happen so soon? This was the 2nd time. The first time I had an excuse (I was shooting a new gun in Backup Division and each stage had 10 shots, so I had to do reloads and he didn't), this time I got nothing. I shot well (for me), he just shot better. At least he had the decency to also beat 16 of the 17 adults he shot with. The winner is a good B shooter in USPSA.
  18. Couple of questions: 1. Did those sites ever work from those computers? 2. If they did, what did you change just before they quit working? 3. What operating system? 4. What browser? 5. Are you using a proxy? (In IE: Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings) I would check to see if it is resolving the names correctly. To test that: Start -> Run Enter the following without quotes: "cmd" In the cmd window, enter the following commands: ping brianenos.com ping uspsa.org ping 74.55.30.98 ping 209.62.63.82 exit Let me know what results you get.
  19. I sure hope they make that one a classifier so we all can enjoy it!
  20. Practice that transfer at home with the gun empty. Be very conscious of keeping your left trigger finger well outside of the trigger guard. I scared myself dry-firing the other morning when I transferred from SH to WH and my left trigger finger went straight to the trigger. I now spend more time practicing that to make the transfer safely.
  21. The slight problem with that method is that it requires you to know the topic number AND the post number. I was able to find the correct syntax by doing an advanced search and selecting the Result Type as Show Results as Posts. Hovering over the Post Preview gives you the URL for getting to a single post without the topic number. I right-clicked (using IE), copied shortcut, then editted to get 1000000. Now if I could shoot like I type....
