  1. You might try contacting Benny Hill at Triangle Shooting Sports, he is on the forums here as well. I have seen on here where he has recommended these barrels, uses them in their builds and I believe if I'm not mistaken runs one in his personal HM rifle. He builds nice kit and has a ton of knowledge.
  2. I have three of their scopes and couldn't be more pleased. Also if you ever have the opportunity to deal with Scott there you couldn't ask for better customer service. Good stuff. 1X4 PST 1X6 Razor HD II 5X20 Razor HD II
  3. +1 see above. For classes I like either the Mayflower sling or the VTAC sling; they both pretty much meet your criteria.
  4. Go with the whole LMOS operating system(buffer, buffer spring, lightweight bolt carrier) from JP it makes a world of difference when paired with an adjustable gas block. The difference is amazing.
  5. +1 on Robar. I have ahd a bunch of stuff NP3 coated by them. First class work and service.
  6. That is a very interesting rifle. I didn't know that there was anyone making aftermarket lowers for the SCAR; very interesting.
  7. I have one of their 16" 6.8 SPC stainless, fluted barrels; it is a tack driver with most any load. Wish I had bought two when I bought this one.
  8. I did a load with Speer 125gr TNT, 48.0gr of TAC and CCI LRP. Shoots pretty soft but haven't shot it at any distance but 100 & 200. Shoots sub MOA in my Larue & POF. Need to work it out at distance to see how it performs.
  9. +1 0n the Safariland bag. I have two of them and they rock.
  10. I bought one on a whim yaer before last and put it in a hard usage carbine; it has performed with no issues so far. It's been to a couple of classes and a good bit of practice, no dramas. Cleans up really easy, with little to no wear that I can tell.
  11. I have 1 leightweight, two SLCs and, two regular weight carrier from Youngs; love them. Really nice work. I don't think that you will be disappointed in the quality. Also nice folks to deal with.
  12. The Lancer guys are a good bunch. I have two of their tubes and love them. One is on my 3 gun rifle and have run hard for two seasons and no issues; I'm sold on them. You won't be disappointed and there is no problem with running bipoid on them that I have found.
  13. Killing Kennedy by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard. Pure historical fact but reads like a novel; good stuff.
  14. John was a good friend and will be sorely missed. More than all John accomplished, which was legendary, he was a good man, a father and a true American innovator and Patriot. I am humbled that I was considered a friend of his. The world is a poorer palce with his passing. Don Alexander Director of Military Sales Surefire
  15. I have two of thier BCGs in two different SBRs that get used hard, suppressed and unsupressed. They are MILSPEC quality and I have had no issues.
  16. +1 on the Vltor A5. I have two of them on two lowers and use them for all sorts of different applications. If your are going to go rifle length I recommend using the JP LMOS spring, buffer and bolt carrier. That in combination with an adjustable gas block will give your rifle a whole different feel during recoil; almost none.
  17. Looks good. Build it, load it, shoot it like you stole it!
  18. What Benny said. Barring that have it turned to .750 for the whole thing and you will be fine.
  19. If you take your optics off then re-zero; doesn't matter if it's real world or a match. Do you really want to go hot wondering if it's on? Doesn't matter who makes your mount; check, re-check, and then check again. That eliminates one more variable. Want your kit ot work? Then set it and your self up for sucess by wringing it out on the training range, that way you will know what will work and what will not. Mark Larue is not out there on your training range; his kit will either stand by it's meirts or it won't. YOU be the judge of what works or not. The proof is what works regardless of who or what company made it, doesn't matter whether is's Baghdad, Bagram, or Brownsville, TN. I have bought a bunch of stuff for 3 gun from a bunch of companies but at the end of the day I use what works for me. You don't like Laure then don't buy it and use some one elses kit. I look at the guys that are making their house payment as professional shooters and what they use; if it works for them it will most likely work for me if I will dedicate the amount of effort that they do.
  20. +1 to what has already been said. The MG brake was designed for belt feds and functions differntly than the AR paltform.
  21. Dueck Defense defintely. They work great, I zero them at 50 yards so that I don't have to keep up with different zero data but really just use them on the close range targets. They are accurate and well made, you won't be disappointed.
  22. Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly & Martin Dugard
