I put an sti trigger from an edge in mine. Dropped right in.

I use a lyman also. I just bend a paper clip on both ends. Put one end thru the hole and the other on the scale. I like the string idea also.

I have a Walther ppq m2 and want to try it out shooting carry optics. Does anyone know who makes a base for the optic that will fit this gun ? What is the part number ? Also what would be a good red dot to mount to it ? I am looking for a mid priced red dot to try it out. thanks for your help.

Sti will not fit. I sold my ria but havn't listed my tf magwell yet. If you are looking for a used black tf magwell pm me. I also have a guncraft mag release drilled and tapped in stainless.

I love mine. Bought it a few yrs ago. Had trouble with my chrony. I have found that the readings are the same as the readings I get at matches. The chrony readings were a little higher.

I can load to a oal of 1.20 in my edge as well as my ria. Make sure the bullets you are using are .400. I got a batch of coated bullets a while ago that were sized to .401-.402 and had problems with them. I would get one stuck in the barrel not quite in battery. Had to pop them out. Now I make sure they are sized to .400

I just purchased a few parts from them. The parts are just what I expected, and they got to me quickly.

my metalforms are difficult as well. I just shoot them out, its faster.

overtravel adjust

I have been using sti 140s in my ria pro 40. I did have to adjust them slightly so they would drop free.

I have shot several matches with my pro 40. Runs 100% since I put an aftec in it. I have run @ 1500 extremes thru mine, only saw 1 keyhole so far.

I am using the taylor freelance magwell. I did sand slightly in the rear corners so my sti mags would slide in easier

There are 2 set screws. Mine came loose on my dvc. Put some blue loctite on the screws and they will stay put.

I used the 9mm spacer, not sure which follower, could be an sti.

I had trouble with my 9mm mags also. I am using 40 followers in mine. Had to remove a little from the back for the spacers, but they run fine now.

shot my pro match 40 today in a uspsa 165 rd match. Ran great. The aftec has made it 100% reliable.

I had a problem with some coated bullets in my sti. I load to 1.20 and I thought the bullets were .040 but were .041 and some measured .042. I had to shorten them to 1.185 oal .

Does anyone know if an sti trigger will fit the 40 pro ? If not what trigger will ? I want a longer than stock trigger. Thanks

I am using my cr speed Same setting as my edge. The only difference is the white nylon screw under the frame. It has to go in a couple turns.

The one in mine is a 14 lb spring

Don't forget the chronograph. Some are more accurate than others. I use competition electronics and have found it to be right on with major match chronys. I load to 172 pf to be safe. Outside temperature also affects some powder.

I have seen the overtravel do what you are describing.
