  1. What's your OAL and crimp measurements. Assuming they are good, drop check the rounds in your gun barrel and see if they are okay. For me, my EGW case gauge is much tighter than my glock barrels. I use an OAL of 1.140 and crimp at .379 with Blue Bullets 147 RN. When I load with factory american made brass no issues. With foreign brass like CBC, Aguila, GFL, and military crimped brass, the center of the case wall are a little thicker than standard american brass, the 147's are much longer than 115 and will seat into this thicker area and won't reliably case gauge for me but will drop check in the factory glock barrel. HTH.

    Trigger bar help

Yes both are factory G17 gen 3. The trigger on top is the newer version, it has the curve where the trigger spring goes. The bottom one is an older version, the portion where the trigger spring goes is straight.
  3. Just measured a stock gen 4 Glock release, 1.182".
  4. I'm using the Ghost extended with the full surface, on a 17 and 19 with no issues with the mag dropping, even on table starts. I didn't need to alter my grip, but I can see it being an issue depending on your left hand grip, especially if you grip similar to Vogel with the left hand more foreward. It does stick out much more than the factory extended, with the calipers, 1.291" vs 1.206". HTH.
  5. Or thinking positively, it could have been from an old primer that was recently deprimed and its better to have a dud than a squib.
  6. Also check the plastic tip at the end of the primer dispensing tube, blue for small and red for large, when they get too worn they can also cause misfeeds or cause difficulty in the primer slide picking up the new primer.
  7. Never used it, the few threads I've seen, the posters have been happy with it. Its supposed to be a ball powder similar to 231/hp38 with similar data. I would love to buy that keg.
  8. For GSSF in Heavy Metal division, I have a nice target load of coated 200 gr SWC over 3.5 grs. Clays, I forgot OAL but the bullet shoulder is a thumbnail thickness above case neck. I was trying to duplicate a 45 ACP load of 3.9 Clays with the 200 gr SWC, feels very similar. I never did chrono it but cycles reliably, soft and accurate. Used it to place a few times for GSSF.
  9. Medium beavertail, otherwise I get severe slide bite too.
  10. Rob, this is exactly how I feel. I hear ya. Well said.
  11. I haven't used the new ones yet, but here's an excerpt from Chandler's facebook page, hth: "BBI is happy to introduce our new 9mm-147 grain bullet. It is a grooveless design with a beveled base and is replacing our previous lube-groove 9mm-147. The design is built to mimic the ogive of the older bullet such that any press changes will be minimal for our customers. Initial runs put the weight about 148 gr. These are currently shipping for all customer orders."
  12. Yes, but only for revolver division with conventional speed loaders, it is 155 for moon clips, in Stock Service Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, and Compact Carry Pistol the power floor is still 125.
  13. Thanks for sharing, I just purchased a few kegs to use. Need to chrono but shooting 3.4 grs RS under a 147 RN black and blue bullet at 1.140 and cci primer. Feels similar to my 3.8 gr load with WST that chronos 135 out of a G17.
  14. I bumped my loads up by .2 grains, I shoot 3.8 gr WST with 147 fmj with a g17/g34, with the g19, I bumped the load up to 4.0 grs to keep the same power factor at 135. With the g19 and 3.8 load it averages about 127/128 pf. Too close for me using WST and hot weather in Florida. For CCP the maximum barrel length is going to be 4.1" for the division, instead of 5.3" with a G34 in SSP/ESP.
  15. Kygunco has the k100 mk7 for $337. When you factor in that JG charged $30 to ship the gun and kygunco is free shipping its only $7 more expensive than they were before. The K100 I have was bought from there a couple weeks ago, its under Century Arms on their website. Great deal plus the gun comes with 2 mags.
  16. I run a g19 for ccp with a 13lb spring and 147 loads at 135 pf. Cycles faster and shoots flatter vs the stock spring for me. The magwell width will have to be shaved by at least a 1/4" to fit the ccp box, the ccp box is the regular size with a 1/4" spacer to reduce the depth of the box. Maximum width of the ccp gun is 1 3/8" vs 1 5/8". Front and back of the magwell will be fine.
  17. Since your shooting a G26, I think you have the best BUG available. I would just run your standard 147 minor loads in it. The bayou or berry's with titegroup with at least minor pf wold be best. The 26 will cycle fast and flat with the stock spring with these loads. I haven't chronoed the velocity difference, but the pf for my loads are about 135 out of a G17 (910 to 925 fps). Recoil feels light and very controllable out of the G26 with these loads. FWIW, I made BUG master on the classifier last month and have my fastest GSSF times with this combination. I haven't messed with lighter loads considering how well standard 147 minor loads work.
  18. I'm going to double check, I was concerned about that. If not it was a good experiment and I have a latest generation barrel to go in that gun. I couldn't find any written rules on this.
  19. The first time I heard of the new CCP division, I thought I would cut back my full size M&P barrel also, but after measuring the amout of the barrel that sticks out from the front of the slide, by the time it got to the proper length, the end of the barrel would be sitting inside the end of the slide, although not by much. I have been wondering if it would hurt anything. I spoke to our area director about it and his contacts said it was okay to cut a barrel in ESP/CCP to non factory length. I'll double check. Attached are a few pictures, sorry about the camera phone quality, but it gives you an idea, I shot it last week with a couple hundred rounds. It was reliable and accuracy was about the same in careful off hand group shooting at 20 yards, about 4 inches, it is a first gen barrel with plated 147's.
  20. I've reads on here correspondence with atk confirming that cci magnum spp and cci small rifle (400) are the same, they have a 0.20 thickness cups, cci also makes another srp the 450 that has a 0.25 cup that is better for ar's to prevent slamfires.
  21. I normally shoot a G17 in SSP, my 147 plated RN/Berry's or Precision Delta FMJ (I get roughly the same velocity with both) load is usually 135 pf with 3.8 with WST, at 1.130, to maintain the same PF in a G19 I had to bump up to 4.0 grs. I had chronoed beginning of March in 83 degree weather. On the board I saw alot of post with 3.6 grs WST for the same pf in a G34. Shot the G19 at last months Florida State IDPA match in CCP.
  22. 8 rd mag limit, You can recut/recrown the barrel shorter. Also check the width at the safeties. Might be a little too fat. Shot CCP with a G19 last month at the Florida State match. The gun did well. Going to try a M&P with the barrel cut to 4.1 for little bit and see if I can run it better than the 19.
  23. That's impressive on 6 bill drills in a row, well done, gives me something to shoot for. I tense up after the first one or two, I need to learn to relax more.
