  1. Why not try the extensions that don’t add rounds and see if they work?
  2. Why not try the finger extensions that don’t add rounds and see if they work?
  3. Hi, I thought CO guns were Production guns with slide mounted optics. I don’t believe thumb rests are allowed in Production and so they aren’t allowed in CO either. If you’re set on using a thumb rest, you might want to check and see if they’re allowed in Limited Optics. Hope this helps.
  4. What’s your set up for CO?
  5. This is a great bag. https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Browse-by-Manufacturer/Shooters-Connection/Shooters-Connection-Bags/Shooters-Connection-Tournament-Series-Shooting-Bag-PRO-II
  6. Go with the STI because of the potential of a great trigger.
  7. If you don’t notice any brass marks on your SRO, I’d say you’re in the clear!

  9. I don’t believe there are better followers. Why don’t you switch followers with another mag and see if the second mag has the same problem? If it does, then just replace the bad follower with a new one.
  10. Found a Platypus online with a threaded barrel. I live in a non-threaded barrel state and thought if I bought it without the barrel, I’d just buy a barrel. This way I’d avoid the wait from Stealth Arms. Didn’t think this would work. Thanks for getting back to me. I’m currently shooting a Glock 34 in LO. The Platypus would be a big change for me. Are you happy you’ve purchased yours? Any regrets?
  11. Could the follower have a rough spot that needs to be taken care of?
  12. Searched here and found one thorough thread on the Platypus. Has anyone else purchased one and would share their experience with it? Would like to buy one but I’d like to see more first hand experience with it. Thank you.
  13. Hi, it’s probably a foolish question, but will the Platypus take a standard 1911 barrel? Thanks.
  14. You can get a similar slide on EBay for much less. I’ve built 3 Glocks using eBay slides and have had no issues. Hope this helps.
  15. I believe the stock Glock 35 slide stop is an extended one. I had the same problem with my 34. I replaced my slide stop with one from a 17 and it solved my problem. The 17’s slide stop is not extended and I was inadvertently hitting it with my thumb. Worth a try since the part is so cheap. Hope this helps.
  16. Just curious if this happened with all your mags?
  17. I’d say 3” to 4” at 25 yards is very good. You’ll be able to hit plates in USPSA with that kind of accuracy. I sight in my CO 34 in our indoor range, about 50 feet, and that has worked for me. Hope this helps.
  18. A gunsmith encounters this problem all the time. He or she will be able to drill them out.
