  1. The folks that make it have it listed as being even faster than Bullseye on their burn rate chart though. Now whether or not its safe to make Minor with a 147,I don't know. That would probably depend on one's own definition of safe.Personally,I won't do it,no matter how good it feels.-Mike
  2. Now,whose FFL does FedEx want to see?The shipper, dealer/shop that will be receiving it,or both?I'm getting the impression that as a non-FFl holder,I can't ship to an FFl-holder,even with FedEx or UPS???? -Mike
  3. My wife and I both use these for revolver, and I also use one for my smallblock Glocks.I don't think there were any instructions that came with them. There might be some video info on their website though.I guess my only tip would be to make sure you get all the capscrews tightend down good after you get it adjusted.-Mike
  4. Thanks, they actually had one in stock. -Cuz. If you don't mind me asking. How much are they asking for these?I've got a G17 parts kit that could use a home.-Mike
  5. I thought that the 750 fps rule was meant to insure that the bullets would deform enough to cut down on splashback?
  6. I hate that,especially if you're range is a fair drive away.
  7. I really like my Toro Recycler. Its a self-propelled (Personal Pace rocks!) steel deck model that came with all the goodies to mulch, bag,or side discharge.I think I gave about $375 shipped for it from Speedwaysales.com.Its been a great mower for the money.I've pretty much fallen out of love with Sears Craftsmen stuff. It seems like they have some decent stuff as well as stuff thats real crap, and its hard to sort out the difference without parting with quite a bit of coin.-Mike
  8. Hehe...I prefer the Major PF of a decent paintball gun. With frozen or unfrozen paintballs depending on the application.-Mike
  9. I'm thinking you'd be finding out how good your innocence to lawyer $$$ ratio is.-Mike
  10. I don't have my notes here at work, but I'm pretty sure I get around 2900 or better with RL15 or H414/WW760.This is at around 4000ft altitude though.-Mike
  11. Yup,sounds familier.I had the same issues when trying to work up an ICORE Minor load for my 625.I tried Clays,WST,and even Bullseye under them.I ended up using Trail Boss to get any consistency at all.Even then they were pretty awful in the accuracy department.I'm sticking with flat based bullets.-Mike

    LWD frame

Thanks for the info Tom!I'll keep watching for them to come out.Heck, for $200,I'll be a beta tester. If they have a decent magwell coming for it,I'll do a 9 Major Open gun on one.Make it sweat a little.-Mike

    LWD frame

Are these available yet?I just went to Lone Wolf's site and its still looking like they're "coming soon".I'll probably order one when they become available.I've got a G17 parts kit that needs a frame.-Mike
  14. Sounds like fun to me!Please let us know how it works out for you.I might be interested in having your guy rebuild a wreck of a 586 the same way.My concern would be as to why Spit & Missin' chose to use Ti for the 646 cylinder. Was it for weight or strength due to the thinner walls? My guess is weight, due to the fact they make the 7 banger .357s.Anyways good luck with it,i hope it turns out.-Mike
  15. I wonder if they wouldn't have a part number stamped on them somewhere? It just seems like I've seen a number on them.Maybe not though.-Mike
  16. Yup,I have heard that the brass destruction order has been recinded as of yesterday.-Mike

    Dog Warning!

    Oh man,thats funny!
  18. Some of the new headlight lamps are pretty damn annoying too.You know, the ones that look like they have a blue tint to them.I don't know if they're factory or aftermarket or what.
  19. I'm thinking that with some of these ultra light trigger systems, they might make a difference.Less surface area = less friction = more striker energy available to set off the primer.Just a thought,-Mike
  20. That sucks man.At least it didn't make it past the filters.
  21. +1!They even sucked when they were making money.-Mike
  22. I should mention too that I'm using all stock Glock parts with mine. There was a pretty long thread a while back about these frames. It seems like sometimes they don't like to play nice with aftermarket parts, especially the big ones.
  23. I recently put together a CCF/G17 myself.I noticed that the ejector housing sits a shade closer to the right on this one.I had to trim the slide cover plate a little to get the ejector to clear for assembly.Everything works fine though, good trigger bar/striker engagement, etc.Maybe CCFs mold is drifting a little and yours is sitting to far to the right? If you look at the gun from the right side, the trigger spring should make an "S".The connector should be inserted fully at the bottom.-Mike
  24. Yeah,I bet its just fine.My wife was using my 625 at a pin match last summer when it spit the crane and cylinder out.I guess the screw backed out a little. It was kind of funny actually,to me anyway. She didn't think so though. At that point I decided to mess with her a little.I acted all concerned that it was probably all bent and that the gun was probably toast.Maybe not my best idea ever, but I thought it was funny.Anyway,I threw it back together, the gun was fine, she finished the match, domestic harmony resumed, and the gun has been fine ever since.-Mike
  25. Yes,but only for the chamber liners, make the rest out of carbon fiber.
