  1. Nah, let'm keep messing with it and soon I can shooting Production with this..............
  2. Awesome! And I'm amazed they let you do all that to a duty gun. Gotta love Texas! Did glockworx do they stippling too? Looks really nice. It's a complete build by ZEV..
  3. I got a G17 Dragonfly for duty use. The total weight of the unloaded pistol is 22 ounces. According to GLock, a stock G17 weight 25 ounces, so they removed quite a bit of weight from the slide. I've only shot 60 rounds through it so far for qualification, but I was extremely impressed. It's no Infinity, but it's shoots really flat and fast. The lightened slide, combined with a sipping and mag well, really let you lock into the pistol.
  4. Yes, you can run an RMR is you choose......Not my cup of tea right now, but maybe when my eyes get a little older..
  5. My Department issues a Sig 226 DAK. Anything other than that is on us......
  6. And I would recommend you hit one of us up to go to your first match. It will be a lot more fun and a whole lot less stressful with an experience shooter to help guide you through your first few matches.
  7. I've been wanting one of this guns since the first time I saw one in person at a local gun shop. Last week I practically stole this brand new one off of gunbroker. FWIW, it's just for work. I'm still (and always will be) a die hard Infinity guy when it comes to competitive shooting...
  8. Those two carry guns have been adopted by other families.......I'm down to two Limited guns and one SS as far as Infinity goes. The good thing about them, is they are as good as cash when you need it.
  9. Who has time to do all that........
  10. That is beyond amazing.........luck might have played a part too!!
  11. Hey Taylor, I'm just around the corner from you. Don't let those 3 gunners influence you. Let's Master the pistol first, then we'll branch out to the rifle and scatter gun!!
  12. Either way, it's way out of spec and should not have left the factory. At least STI will make it right...
  13. Yeah it looks great. How has the reliability been?
  14. Learn to use your front sight. I think in most cases, using the front sight will be faster than the laser.
  15. I personally love the term and consider myself one
  16. Congratulations! Baby boys rock!
  17. That is the same number I get, using their formula.
  18. I just got my G19 back from having some work done, which included Heinie sights. The front sight is .215 and the pistol is shooting 5" high at 10 yards. According to the Dawson Precision formula, I need a .300 tall front sight. Does that sound ridiculously tall?
  19. Order the 34 and keep borrowing until it gets there....
  20. It depends. 2-3 weeks would be more than enough time to send it out, get it back and put it back together for you. If in doubt call, but when your builder is on the phone, he isn't building guns. Thats why most prefer email so they can check at their conveience.
  21. This was probably said previously, but the absolute best way to start is with an extremely experience reloader who will set your press up from the start. I had never loaded anything on anything when I bought my 650 from Enos. Lee Neel set it up for me about 4 years ago, gave me some instruction, watched me load 200 rounds and I've never looked back. I couldn't even imagine opening all those boxes and trying to get going by myself!! Good luck!!
  22. Assuming 9mm for 3 gun, go bushing barrel to save the weight.......No PF in 3gun, so no need for a heavy gun.
  23. I think carry covers anything over than what you carry at a match. I carry at work. Those are single and double stack Infinity 1911s. I carry when I'm off duty. That for now, is a M&P Shield with the G19 incoming....
