  1. Hmmm, I have been using an Arredondo muzzle platform for 3 years and I have had no complaints. Probably a hundred thousand draws and the platform is much better than the cup IMO. I have had no complaints about the trigger bar, so I didn't change it.
  2. http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem....sp?Item=8615960 The Benelli M3Super90 would get my vote as the best pump shotgun (and since it goes semi auto also you don't need two shotguns

Ah, I'm not used to seeing shotguns that aren't black

What is that for? It sure is pretty.
  5. They are not disallowed unless it is specifically stated as a range rule. Anyway that is the way I understand it. You might be better off to buy one of those weighted safety mags for safety table practice.
  6. What about "cold" ranges? Violation of a stated range rule should be considered.
  7. Not hard, and not drunk, Demo's prefer to be stoned, it makes them "feel" better.
  8. Dang you got the average proportions of the average IPSC shooter down perfect
  9. For the cheapskate, I turned down a few on my drill press .030 It wasn't that hard to do, and the wind doesn't bend it (not enough surface area)
  10. I agree, it is a mono-pod or bi-pod, whick must be affixed, per the rulebook
  11. um, if you load 11 and strip 1, there are only 10 rounds loaded in the magazine. The rule reads that only 10 rounds may be loaded in the magazine. so if you load 10, strip 1 the RO (even Amidon himself) can ask to see the mag and only 10 rounds are in the mag so it should be permited per the rule.
  12. You can even put 11 rounds in the first mag if you strip the 1st one when you Load and Make Ready
  13. Holy cr@p!!! You have put some time into this I see
  14. I agree with TBF, cheaters cheat because they have no life, and that is the only way they can win, as if winning a stupid pistol match has anything to do with your self-worth. So my 2 cents is people cheat because they have no life.
  15. I agree with Brian, the only wya to make the tough shot for me is to feel the trigger.
  16. Why get it fixed autos are so much more fun
  17. Ditto to what Ron said. BE covers this in the BOOK very clearly.
  18. Ok, I see none of you have even taken a dremel tool or file to your grips, not a beast until you have hacked away the grip a bunch
  19. $3.50 for a cup of coffee = 43 bullets, I started boycotting coffee stands a long time ago.
  20. Federal primers are the only ones I haven't had a light hit on, so they are all I will use. I use a 1050 so I don't have seating problems at it swages every primer pocket. You might try better brass.
  21. Eric, BE suggests the same thing in his book
  22. The more you can shoot anything, the better off you are I think. Recoil management is different with a .22, but I think that this game is more about seeing than recoil management so I would say anything you can can do to work on seeing, e.i. watching the front site bounce around on a .22. Firing a .22 is cheap fun and I agree, buy as many mags as you can. It is not a substitute for firing your IPSC gun, but if it is the choice between, firing a .22 and firing nothing (because of cost) then shooting the .22 wins in my book every time. I have a Kimber conversion and the sight are set up just like all my limited guns, seeing is BEing.
  23. Jeff, It is a sandblasting grit, I don't know the technical term as I just went to the supply store and dug through a couple of open bags until I found the stuff I though would work best. I guess sandblasting material (I have no idea of what it is composed of) has different color for grits, but just call a local supply company, or a shop that uses it, and I'm sure they could help you figure it out.
