  1. Use your eyes to tell you when to pull the trigger.
  2. Unless you don't have a dominant eye I recommend taking a trip to your optomotrist if it doesn't come to you after some practice. That's how I found out I don't have a dominant eye. Then you just realize it really doesn't slow you down. I found a piece of black tape (a paster works well) in the right spot just creats a blind spot and is not distracting.
  3. I have my Bladetech screwed to my CR speed belt. No problems.
  4. What bottom dot? I see a center dot. I see a circle. I see crosshairs on the circle. Where's the other "dot"? Also, I didn't call up demand that EO Tech put extra dots on because I'm hell bent on spending $340. They're doing it for the US Military. So, obviously there is at least one person besides myself that would like the feature. Ok, the bottom crosshair (I use it as a dot ) It really does work pretty dang well. Magnification would be nice though $340 man mine was $385.
  5. The little portable propane heaters work pretty good, you can just carry them with the squad(s).
  6. Hmm, I use the bottom dot for 30 yards or less, holding right on works out to 250 and you hold a tad high out to 350 and it seems to work ok. I think it's a pretty good sight the way it is
  7. If you can do it fine, if not fine too.
  8. No need to blue it first, just shoot it in the white and then have Tripp Research chrome it.

It is as consistant as any powder I've used.
  10. I just got the Bushmaster 16in Modular Carbine w/ a flash hider (not pictured) I got the Eotech sight for it and it shoots 8" plates at 200 yards easily. I was shooting 14"x18" in plates at 350 yards, so I think it should do the job for three gun. The Iron sight co-witness great, although they are not as nice as the G&G. The gun shoots real nice
  11. If you want heavy go for a tungsten barrel
  12. I am of the same mind as James. ? Me three. I find in teaching, most people need to slow down to speed up.
  13. Go ahead and let the rest of the shooters laugh and at you for standing there looking like a tosser That is the best way to break people from doing things that are silly, constant riddicule. There are those who know how to do things properly and those who wish they did
  14. Arms hanging fully extended, relaxed at sides. All the gimicks aren't any faster.
  15. I cleaned it when I bought it, it been so long now I forgot how.
  16. I've played around a lot with. Here is what I found, if you add weight to the bottom of the gun (ie. tungsten magwell) It shoots REALLY soft and is very stable, but it doesn't return to target as fast. To make it return at the speed I liked I had to use a 16 lb spring, which caused other things that I didn't like to happen. Feel is what it is. I know I can get to the next target as fast with a heavy or light gun because the timer tells me so. I think the most important thing is that you are comfortable with what you are shooting. Some like light violent (i.e. Glock) guns and some prefer softer shooting tanks, both are better than most any of us will ever be. So, make something YOU think is cool and don't worry about the rest, and most of all feed the thing as much and as often as you can. DVC
  17. I think I might buy me one of those Caspian hi cap frames if they ever decide to make decent mags that will hold 19 rounds of .40 or a Springfield if the offer in in .40.
  18. Take a deep breath and relax, nothing is abnormal. 10K, you are just starting to get it broken in
  19. Speak for yourself ........ the Glock has always been beautiful. What do you mean, it is STILL UGLY!!!
  20. Unless you are like TGO who shoots a big heavy gun I'm not into snappy guns, I used to be but the better I get the more I like the smoothness of a gun with weight in the barrel (tungsten) I tend to relax more and shoot smoother. I like the look of a long dust cover, but had speed cuts and a accessory rail cut into it to give it the weight of a short dust cover. I have a Dawson Ice magwell on it now, the stainless (tried a tungsten also) magwell didn't work the way I hoped.
  21. Excesive lightening can have the effect of when the slide comes forward it doesn't have the force to come back on target as quickly for me. That is the most important thing for me, how the gun returns to the target. I use a setup that cycles slower than most setup, but it is smother returning to target than a violent lighter gun, which some prefer. For me the smoother the gun shoots, the more relaxed I shoot it.
