I've had mine for more than2 years already and no problems at all. i love it and if i have to go shopping for a new holster i'd go the same route. are you referring to the integral magwell of the race ready frame that can be opened up some more and welded? welded how? for what?

Same thing with my springer, but on mine it's the side of slide that rubs with the dust cover. i think it's a fitting issue although i'm not sure...
