  1. I've worked in retail, wholesale, and customer service for years. I've also worked for 2 different watch companies. (Suunto and St. Moritz / Momentum) 1. That sucks, and you got screwed. 2. I assume you've already done this, but go back thru K.C. and ask for for help. They may decide to bend a few rules to make or keep a customer. They may have problems with their watch vendor and be willing to take up the slack. 3. Kenneth Cole is an anti-gun company. Remember this when you make your next purchase. 4. Polite suggestion: Purchase from a reputable, local dealer. Let them take care of any issues for you. I'll step down off my soapbox now...
  2. How would you do it? Keep people in isolation until it was their turn? Who's gonna tape and reset?
  3. idpa must really want to grab an extra dozen uspsa shooters that wanted PO...
  4. N320 sucks. Send it all to me and I'll dispose of it for you at no charge. N320 is wonderful in .40 major. Low smoke, burns clean, I like the recoil impulse. You don't know what clean burning means until you run Vit powder.
  5. I use reduced size targets for practice. It wasnt hard to build target stands that work for both r.s. and full sized targets. (if I can do it, anybody can) We used to have a rimfire match that did the same thing, and of course, its common place in 3 gun.
  6. Wow, its a shame that a club can be permitted to practice such elitist, exclusionary actions.
  7. Our club is a members only club.Non-members can visit the club 3 times after that they must join the club. I guess I will bring this up at our next club meeting see what happens. In the end the match fee for a non-member will end up paying $250.00 to shoot the USPSA match and will get a free membership to the club. All within the rules and agreements of USPSA. "The right way". That way we don't have to get an exemption or get the rule changed. Good for you. But some of us take our USPSA sport seriously and do what we have to do to shoot matches...including paying for a club membership that we prefer to not pay. That is the price to have a USPSA match at this particular club. In the mean time we USPSA shooters continue to fight the fight. The only thing you out of town do-gooders are going to get accomplished is messing up the most serious USPSA club in the St. Louis area. If the club doesnt follow the USPSA rules, then its not a USPSA match. Its false advertising. Representing themselves as a USPSA club, but not following the rules, is fraud. Requiring shooters to break USPSA rules and join a club is extortion. Any shooter who condones these practices is part of the problem. The Section Coordinator and Area Director should address this immediately, or be removed from office.
  8. HK people get used to the advice.
  9. When the ignorant RO (who may just be overly well intentioned) tries to issue a DQ, just wait patiently for the RM to arrive and set things right.
  10. The idpa mucky mucks around here not only think its an unwarranted idea, they are actually offended by the notion.
  11. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-display-match-results-detail.php?indx=12841
  12. And yet the progenitor chose to place the poll there. Prob because a similar poll had already failed its intended purpose here at Enos. I'm not clueless or ignorant, thank you.
  13. This. There was no justification for a new Division. The last poll had less than 100 voters, with the majority voting against. So, it was clearly a non-starter. Had there been a petition with 2500 signatures, it might have been worth discussing.
  14. No where does it say the walls are brick/wood/steel/etc...maybe the 'wall' is glass/plexiglass/rice paper or something else transparent. If the wall is supposed to be a vision barrier, then it has to actually block vision. It cant just be 'declared' a vision barrier. Its easy enough to block vision if thats what the course designer wants to do. This has been discussed at length before but I havent found the thread yet.
  15. Why not? Squads listings are available. https://clubs.practiscore.com/uspsahgnationals/squadding I stand corrected. Thanks for the link Chuck!
  16. Its interesting to see the squad lineups if you're following a big match. With p'score squadding, you can't do that.
  17. Less than 100 people participated in the latest poll. (With the majority voting against) Its a non-issue. Hence, the crickets.
  18. This. And anything by George Digweed, or Jackie Stewart.
  19. Just FYI. The Candlewood Suites hotel in Ft Smith is about as close to the range as you can get without camping. They give a great rate to shooters for any Old Fort Gun Club event (not just for big matches) They are totally gun friendly...just call the front desk and mention Old Fort Gun Club for the best rate.
  20. Awesome. The CZ Accu-Shadow is so good, that its not legal for idpa. Too fast to race;-)
