  1. I met Walther Arms new Marketing Director today. He was very excited to tell me that they finally got their new PPQ 5" M2 on the Production list. I was just happy to know that they knew about the Production list at all (very different than before)
  2. It has just been approved for USPSA...not sure about IPSC. I dont think IPSC allows 5" guns at all in Prod.
  3. If you convert a flashlight into a suppressor...the law will no longer consider it a flashlight...
  4. It does look just plain strange. http://automaticaccuracy.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/IMG_20140326_141707759.jpg
  5. Seems like it would've been easier to use the SJC weight. http://stores.sjcguns.com/sjc-glock-frame-weight/ Vogel had a RLN make him a custom holster anyway...
  6. Lots of people are ok with the Recoilmaster. But they're a little heavy, and they eventually break. I think they have an odd recoil impulse in .40 but maybe thats just me. I prefer a standard length guide rod in my SS gun.
  7. Agree. At best these are grey market shoes. Most likely they are counterfeit. Either way, you're probably supporting a criminal enterprise.
  8. You'll prob be fine after you ditch the horrid recoilmaster.
  9. Thats exactly the type of info I DO want made available to the membership. I dont want cheaters or unsafe shooters in our sport. If someone is such a scumbag that he had his membership revoked, I think thats important info. If that person might be in my squad at a match (maybe he just stopped using his membership #) I think that IS my business. Does this even happen? Has this been an issue at BOD meetings? If so, revoked memberships should be listed right up there with new GM's & RO's in Front Sight.
  10. What kind of "sensitive material" could a uspsa meeting possibly have to address? Please give an example, even if its not the specific issue from this particular secret meeting.Employee evaluations, employee discipline, member discipline and suspension, civil liability, negotiations on contracts where release of information could jeopardize a bargaining position. Just off the top of my head. Understanding that during contract negotiations, the cards must be held close, I think that the membership should absolutely be privvy to all the information in your examples.
  11. Until recently, the most popular competition CZ's (Shadow's) were virtually illegal in idpa. It was difficult to get them down to the weight limit. idpa changed the weight limit, problem solved. You'll see more and more CZ's in matches now.
  12. Nice! I bought lots of good stuff them back in my Sporting Clays days...

  14. Nice coverage as always. I dont see how you do it without financial support. Only thing I'd like to see added is a video 'walk-thru' of the stages.
  15. Fuson went Minor, keeping him out of his usual Top 20 finish. I'll bet he didnt do anything different with his ammo.
  16. send it to dillon, for the price of shipping you'll have a 'like new' machine. those guys are awesome
  17. It is the M2. The production list does not specify models: https://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-production-gunlist.php . IPSC lists it as approved specifically as the PPQM2: https://www.ipsc.org/rules/proddiv.php. So, as in the rules clause, if it is not specifically allowed, it is therefore prohibited? I know it's good in IDPA SSP....... The M2 versions are not on the approved list, neither the 4" or 5". They are not legal for Production.
  18. Just a reminder, if your PPQ is the M2 version, its not legal in Production...
  19. I cant see the screen outdoors at all. I'm not a fan.
  20. Drill a few holes in the back of your grip panels. Or use SPermans excellent polymer grips with the integrated magwell.
  21. Yes, they sponsored the 2013 Production Nationals. I won a certificate, so I tried them out. They are excellent coated bullets. I've been using their 135gr round nose 9mm. It performs nicely. I used the same load as I was using with BBI's and this bullet was a hair faster (5 fps average) I was able to load a little longer than I could with the BBI's. Smoke was the same or better than other coated bullets. I like them, and I've been buying them ever since. They send an order conf and shipping info very quickly, then your bullets arrive. Neat stuff.
