  1. Does anyone know if there is a store between Austin Airport and the range where I can pickup some Rem STS 12 ga. shells? Thanks.
  2. Holy cow! That is awesome! Way to go Nils! Congrats.
  3. Alex, Do you know when the Short Dot is going to be available and price? Also, does the Premiere come with a mildot reticle or a "mil-hash" reticle (similiar to the current Short Dot CQB reticle)? Thanks.
  4. As a side note, JN 8:12 is scripture. ""I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." I believe Trijicon puts different scripture on different scopes.
  5. Was that what was going on at the LR stage before the match? I stayed in my truck trying to stay warm. Wish I would've known, was it posted somewhere? Kelly knows his stuff!
  6. I picked up one of their M4ish Magpul Carbines off the prize table at RM3G. Its fit and function is on par with just about any other AR manufacturer. And they support our sport.
  7. I used the MSA Sordins last year. This year I switched to the mini-canals because of the hot AZ summer. The sounds and dampening are similiar to the ProEar muffs. If there are any specific questions, let me know.
  8. At ranges up to 250 to 300 yards, I would choose the NF over the Burris. The 2 moa dot of the NF allows for easy shot placement out to about 325 yards. I believe the Burris comes into its own when the majority of shots are going to be beyond 200 yards (RM3G 2009). If daylight illum. is a major consideration, I feel the Meopta is really hard to beat for its value and what it offers the 3 Gun shooter. At the ranges you are looking at shooting, you might want to also consider the Meopta. The Meopta has a 2 moa dot and you really don't need a BDC reticle. Kalani
  9. This was an incredible match! Unbelievable scenery, great staff, and the hardest rifle shots I have ever seen. Please don't change a thing. Huge thanks to the MDs, ROs, and staff. Your hard work is very appreciated. Thanks to the sponsors! Without you guys it wouldn't be the same. Another thanks to Darren at Tactical Machining for the badass M4 I selected off the table. Also, big thank you to Firebird for sending me a barrel in time for this match. It made Stage 1 a breeze. Lastly, thanks to everyone for the donations to the Wounded Warrior Project and the equipment donations to James. The shooters involved in 3Gun are remarkable. Kalani
  10. I'm in. Woohoo. Time to start training for those super fast swingers. Oh the horror.
  11. Mine has been rock solid and flawless. Don't hesitate to buy one.
  12. Thanks! I was able to get 5000 sp but missed out on the sr.
  13. Sorry for the necro post... I plan on using two loads with my adjustable gas system AR, a 77gr. SMK moving at 2700 fps and a 55gr. FMJ moving at 3100. Does anyone know which load has the lowest pressure so I know which load to tune my gas system for? Thanks.
  14. Huge huge thanks to the ROs, Staff, MDs, and of course, the sponsors. This was my first major 3 gun match and it left me breathless! Wide variety of stages and great people, can't ask for more.
  15. I grease the bolt/bolt carrier and lightly oil the piston and brass gas ring. Anybody know a place that I can order a set of stock springs? recoil spring, lifter spring, mag catch spring, and magazine tube spring? Thanks.
  16. In your situation, I'd just use the 50 yard zero. Are you using the magnifier on the 100 yard targets? With a 50 yard zero, the bullet impact at 100 yards will be around 1.5 inches high.
  17. For the brief time I ran a Meopta, I used a spare set of Aimpoint M4 covers. They are made of rubber instead of hard plastic and held up very well.
  18. GUNS etc. in Chandler had some BH and PMC yesterday. About 600 dollars a case, ouch!
  19. Are stage descriptions released early for this match like they were for the Area 2 Championship? This will be my first SMM3G and I'm super stoked.
  20. Thank you. Is this the only hotel available or is this the official hotel for the match?
  21. Excuse my ignorance, where do you find the information for "competitor housing" or a listing of local hotels? I could not find it on the RM3G website. Thanks.
  22. What type of follower is that? Is it the new one form Nordic? Thanks.
  23. I'd call Viking Tactics and check stock. It took about 4 weeks to receive our rifle-length.
